This is the blue I was looking for. I previously bought a good blue rope light for a lighting display, and while it worked and looked OK, it wasnt the deeper blue effect I was wanting. I ordered this as a replacement and am quite happy with the blue hue. I wholeheartedly recommend.

I needed some blue light to mimick water for a Christmas decor Flamingo to stand in. This worked perfectly. Plus I can use it around our RV so we can find our RV door in the dark
