Worked well on a 2002 envoy vortec 4.2l crank pully, harmonic balancer. Be sure to grease forcing screw threds before first use.

Puller is built well, and the bottom line is it works, and it works well. However, I chose to use the 2nd longest adapter to break my pulley loose, and as others have identified, that first amount of torque and effort to get the pulley off bent that send longest rod. BUT, once it starts coming off, you can replace the now bent rod with the longest rod, and it will come the rest of the way with no issue. As odd as it may seem, even though the first rod I used, bent, it still works as designed, bend and all. Thats the reason for less than 5 stars - if the rods were just a little more heavy-duty, I would give it 5 stars across the board. Great purchase! PS - I busted two different 3 arm pullers, and one of those two, I broke twice. Dont even waste your time with those things - buy this!

The puller is well made and solid construction. Nice case to keep the parts organized. This kit will store nicely. It’s one of those kits my friends will want to borrow. Answer is no way Jose. Lol. It also arrived one day early , so thanks for the expedited delivery!

I have used it for 2 tough harmonic balancer removals on 4.7L Jeep Grand Cherokee Engines. Both times it performed flawlessly, which impressed me for such an inexpensive and in my opinion cheap looking tool. The 2nd balancer I could have used an impact on, it was that tight. But I still spun it off with a 3/8th drive ratchet. It has not bent the longest push rod yet, and it could have done so easily if it were of lesser quality. So, in short, as long as you do not pound a 1200ft/lb impact on this thing, it should last you a very long time. Dont abuse your tools folks.

Had to put a water pump on the wifes 2016 Explorer with 3.5 Duratec. Had to get this puller for removing the crank pulley and it worked great.
