Works perfectly to adapt Garmin 17mm sized holders to RAM A-sized ball mount arms. Using it with an Arkon Mobile Grip 2 phone holder.

Simple adapter to hook Ram arms to Garmin cradle. Others have pointed out that the plastic ball can cause slipping. I just crank the knob on arm a little harder, it has not anointed me where I will have to scruff up the ball or arm socket yet.

To me I needed to reduce the size to a smaller size on what and the standard size on the other and it worked perfectly.

It’s okay but definitely not the same quality as the RAM products.
