I didn’t read the Oz in this product… which is completely my fault. After getting them, I realized how small they were so one box only lasted for one room. Also, these were more expensive than getting them at Walmart, so I’ll just buy them at Walmart from now on.

It helped remove some odor. Not perfect, but not worthless either. Probably would benefit from multiple doses. However, I wanted to share my experience about the hotly-debated scent. Some people say it smells for hours, other say it smells for days. I can assure you that the scent lingers in the ambient air only for hours, and not in the ambient air for days (unless you get down on all fours and sniff the carpet from half an inch away, in which case yeah you probably could smell it for days). So, dont be afraid: buy a multi-pack and take a few passes at riding odor from the carpet. If you vacuum it up as instructed, you wont smell any scent the next day.

I cannot speak highly enough of this product. I do yoga on my carpet instead of a mat which I know, #1 mistake right there. Well it obviously got very stinky from me rolling around half-naked and sweaty all over it every day. It was strong enough that the smell would emit even outside of the room. I tried literally everything to get rid of the B.O. smell. Carpet shampoos, detergent, regular baking powder, scented carpet powder, essential oils, Febreze, perfume, pinesol, rubbing dryer sheets and deodorant on it, leaving the window open all day - literally EVERYTHING. Then I even paid to have it cleaned/steamed with no results whatsoever; actually I think it made it worse by getting it wet! So THEN I gave up and replaced it with an expensive odor-shield carpet. Well seeing as how Im clearly a glutton for punishment and learned nothing at all, I got it right back stinky in about 5 months. So this time, I was extremely upset that Id just paid for and replaced the carpet just for it to happen almost immediately again. At this point, I had decided to just rip the carpet out and lay down hardwood. Which is obviously not a cheap renovation. I was dreading paying that and having to do all the research for the wood, scheduling appointments, etc. SO I tried one very last thing. This stuff. Not expecting it would work when nothing else had. I covered the carpet with it, let it sit overnight and vacuumed up the next morning.... THE SMELL WAS COMPLETELY GONE!!!!!!!!!!! Not masked, GONE. I mean I shoved my nose into it and scooted around like dog to try to find one smell of stink left and not a thing. The smell it did leave behind (Oxi Clean) is just wonderful! Smells just like fresh laundry. To top that off, it made the carpet FEEL like fresh laundry... soft and plush. I wanted to wait to leave this review also until I knew the results would last. Well it has been a week and a half and the B.O. smell is still completely banished even with me continuing to exercise and sweat on it. It may need some additional sprinkle and maintenance in the future, but that is absolutely fine by me. So to sum up my TMI, rambling story: This product saved me thousands of dollars, it does EXACTLY what is says it will, it is the ONLY thing I found that worked and I could not be any happier. Please never discontinue this item!!!!

Highly scented, carpet definitely smells fresher and the scent stayed after vacuuming. My only complaint is that each box is only about 2/3 or 3/4 full - I expected the box to be fulled to the top and it wasnt, so packaging is a bit deceiving….

No other brand compares to this when it comes to pet odors! Amazing!

At some point my dog decided that pooping in the house is the best revenge for me having a job which results in her only going to the dog park once per day. She is way too smart for her own good and gets a little vindictive. Anyways, maybe once a month or so she will poop on the only carpet rug in the entire house. One awful day this happened while I was at work and before Sir Sucks-a-Lot (my robovac) did its usually round of cleaning. As you can imagine this is definitely not a good mix. My usually reliable friend Sir Sucks-a-Lot went from sucking up dirt and pet hair to a one-day contract as a dog poop steamroller and paved the entire rug. IT. WAS. AWFUL. I smelled it as soon as I came into the house. The sight was way worth than the smell. My once green and white rug was now paved brown with the revenge of my best friend. I spent hours de-pooping and shampooing the rug. Once I was finished, I spread the odor eliminator over the carpet to soak up the remaining moisture (gross), and absorb the smell. 24 hours later Sir Sucks-a-Lot returned to his day job and vacuumed up the odor-absorbing powder and my left my rug smelling great and looking good as new. I highly recommend for anyone with a pet who disrespects their rugs or carpet by pooping inside.

This smells amazing! I used this when fostering for a pet and it works! I even used it when I had no pet and the house smells so fresh and welcoming!
