    This stud kit worked perfectly for my 2005 Chevy Avalanche Z71 4x4 LTZ Flex Fuel Truck. I was taking off everything so that I can do an oil pump change on my truck because it had a ticking under the hood that everyone told me was a lifter knock. I wanted to try this and a trunion and push rod upgrade first to see if it would fix the problem. Keep in mind that I decided against changing the lifter and camshaft after checking for metal shavings in my oil pan and once I removed the oil pan and the plate inside the oil pan, I could see the camshaft. I turned it manually and could see that the whole thing was smooth and glassy, so I knew that there was nothing wrong in that area. Plus, there were no metal shavings in my oil pan. I changed the oil pump and this stopped the ticking under my truck (5.3L). I did the trunion upgrade because I heard that after 150,000 miles, these cheap what I call half moon trunions that chevy puts in their LSs tend to wear out and break and end up in the engine, which can do damage inside. I definitely didnt want that, so I changed the trunions to what I call full moon trunions and put a slightly bigger rod in for good measure. My truck is running beautifully. Anyway, this stud kit worked wonderfully.

    Used this on my LS3 with LSA supercharger. I used an ATI super Damper, pinned the crank and added this ARP bolts for peace of mind. Torqued to 200ft/lbs per instructions.

    great quality, American made Forged bolt. Worked great to replace my stock bolt and can be reused, if I remember correctly a 12 point 1-1/16th socket fits it. quality product and a must buy especially if you work on your engine alot or are doing a rebuild to any GM LS engine

    This is very much worth it considering the stock pull is throw away after taking the bolt off. This can be reused.

    Used this bolt on a 2012 GMC Sierra with a Non-AFM 6.2 liter. The vibration dampener installation kit I rented wasnt the correct size and this bolt got the the dampener installed! Hand turned it until I had 6 threads in the crank then drove it in with the impact gun...flawless ( pulled bolt out after installing and threads were still perfect) . Wouldnt buy any other fastener for this application.

    Nothing but the best, exactly what youd expect from ARP, the price was a little steep for 1 bolt, but you get what you pay for, plus this is reusable unlike the factory damper bolt. Used on my Stock LS3 during a cam swap. 250ft lbs, get a friend and have a flywheel tool or make sure you have a good method of holding the flywheel. A pry bar and holding it myself while torquing was quite difficult :)
