Maybe it’s just what you get used to, but I prefer Arteza rulers over the other brands. The measurements are easy to read and use.

This quilting rule gets more useful the more things I do with it. Sometimes I need to think about how to best position it but that is getting better. The only thing that sometimes bothers me is the 6 1/2 width, it is easy to forget about it not being an even 6 and start measuring back from that edge only to find an extra half inch of material after cutting, that doesnt happen much lately so perhaps an old dog can learn new tricks. It seemed like a lot to buy to get the rule, a cutting mat and a roller cutter but now that I have used them, I rarely go back to scissors.

This is a fantastic ruler. Its easy to read and easy to use. I initially bought it to hem a dress, and it worked well for that. Ive since used it for other things where a straight-edge transparent ruler comes in handy, such as hanging pictures.

It was not what I thought it would be.

These rulers are a great quality. My only gripe is that the numbers go from left to right. I prefer the when they go right to left so I can line my fabric on the right and use my right hand to cut. I just flipped the ruler upside down and it worked fine!

All of my quilting items are in storage & I found myself in need of a ruler. I ordered this with some hesitations because my other one is a Fiskars and I was worried about the quality of this one. So far I am very pleased! What really surprised me was that it comes with those rubber grippers so the ruler doesnt slip & slide on the fabric! Dont peel the 3M sticker off and throw away, the grippers are on the back side. See my pics.

Ive quilted for 51 years, owned a quilt shop and taught for 25 years. These rulers are good quality and a fantastic value! I highly recommend.

Easy to read, easy to cut with.

Ive already used this ruler twice for cutting fabrics for a quilt. Works great, and is just what I needed.
