There were lots of art kits like this one to choose from and some like it that cost less, but I chose this one because it came in a box. It arrived in a very beat up, torn up box that I’m ashamed to give as a gift to my grandson! I don’t want to return it because of a torn up box, yet I think I should! I’ll tape up the box and give it anyway since I wouldn’t have time to get another before his birthday, but I’m disappointed!!

It is perfect for a beginner artist, easy carrying case.

Comes with everything you need for a great value. My 13-year old loves to sketch and has been wanting to try charcoal. I would highly recommend this set as a gift or for a beginner.

This drawing set comes in a cardboard box which measures 12” X 9” X 2.25”. Easy to wrap, if you’re giving as a gift. The drawing set comes in a very nice zippered binder. Loop on the end for carrying as well. I like that this set includes the sketch pad. The pages are perforated, which is nice. Nice that all pages are not just white. 40 – White. . .10 – Tan. . . 10 – Black. This drawing set is Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of thirty bucks. . . it’s at least ten bucks overpriced. . . but overall it is a nice set.

Made good gift to help friend invest on her art skills.

I havent gotten to the tutorials yet,so I cannot speak to that, but I noticed when I opened it it did not have a blending stump/sponge similar to a makeup blending sponge. That would have been helpful

I order mom and mother in law these as Mothers day gifts, the set is REALLY nice and you get a lot inside. It was a wow gift!
