Astro EUROHV105 EuroPro Forged HVLP Spray Gun with 1.5mm Nozzle and Plastic Cup

> 3 dayI bought this to replace my eastwood low-cfm usage spray gun, figuring it was a middle ground between the HF guns and the big money ones. My main concern with the EW gun was the sub-par fan height. This one puts out a nice full 8-10 tall fan when 8 away from the piece (compared to the eastwood that is more like a 5 fan) and you dont need to move at a crawling pace to get the material down. I use this with a 60 gallon compressor, with a regulator on the output set to 80psi, and I have the small 3m regulator available on amazon mounted to the gun set to around 22psi. The guns instructions say go 29psi but it feels way too high of pressure at 29psi. I also immediately upgraded the cup to the 1000mL titan aluminum cup off amazon (you need to extra import gun adapter too). With all those pieces, you get a very nice spray gun. I have so far used it to spray 2k urethane primer and single stage enamel. I am yet to find out if this 1.5mm tip will be good with clear coat.

> 3 dayused it to finish up a project after using another gun I was not pleased with. I sprayed clear over the basecoat and walked away------still looks great without polishing it. I would recommend this gun to any of my friends who are beginners/novices or who regularly paint their own projects. ts

Greater than one weekWas skeptical of it because of price and no real reviews! Few parts easy to clean up good quality spray gun. I have used sata, devibiss, Sharpe, and yes the ever so cheap hb guns but in my opinion the painter and his experience makes all the difference. This gun worked perfectly withmy small air compressor due to its low air consumption and laid down base and cheap clear beautifully! (Didnt even have to cut and buff) in my opinion best gun for the money and perfect for do it yourself er! Only flaw is cup filter has plastic filter that inserts which has tab which makes contact with fluid needle and make it stick open ruining a good paint job.....cut off tab and every thing will work properly! Save yourself the time of reviewing and comparing other guns and prices BUY THIS GUN!

> 3 dayIm an amateur painter. I used this to spray my boat with Awlgrip 545 and the results were very good. I had some trouble at first, but once I had it dialed it, the finish was better than I expected. Gun is also easy to clean.

> 3 dayI purchased this gun thinking it would be a throw away gun after time , I was wrong . Perfect spray every time. I use it for primer and base and then my Awata for clear . You cant go wrong with this gun.

> 3 dayWe love this gun. It holds up well and sprays very good. We are spraying a two part UV coating, so I am sure it could handle lighter duty jobs with ease. Highly recommend this gun.
