Very convenient platform. I use it on my cars, trucks, and miscellaneous household items.

I got this tire inflator because I live in an urban environment where there are fewer and fewer gas stations nearby -- and even fewer still that have functioning tire-inflation stations. Or you need about a dozen quarters to use a pump for one minute, and then it stops. But I also figured I might need to use the inflator for purposes other than just my car tires, so I wanted it to have an alternate power source. This product comes with a rechargeable battery, or you can use a cable to connect it to the cigarette lighter in your car. I charged the battery, and started reading the instructions. What wasnt clear (maybe only to me) is that in order to use the battery pack, you first have to push a button and slide off the attachment at the bottom of the inflator that has the cable car charger on it. Then you replace that attachment with the battery pack. Press the button to turn it on, toggle through the modes (the first one is bicycle mode), press the + or - keys to raise or lower your intended PSI goal. Then press the trigger on the handle to start inflating. Its fast... and loud. But it gets the job done. I was going to keep it in my trunk, however, its larger than expected. You certainly cant take it with you on a biking trip. This is ideal to take with you if youre going on a long car trip and you might be far from a gas station tire inflator if you need one. Its also really handy at home if you need to inflate an air bed, a raft, or something else thats large, and you dont want to pump the air manually.

I was looking for a tire inflator that I could keep in my car, but also use for the riding mower and other things. This is exactly what I wanted. It comes with two batteries. One that charges in a car cigarette lighter and one that charges with a USB-C cable. One you are ready to go you just program in the PSI you want and pull the trigger. It pressures up tires in no time at all. This is a great item that I really recommend.

This inflator has four settings. It is preset to fill basketball, bicycle tire, vehicle tire, and motorcycle tire. Knowing your setting is important. Once you turn on the machine you need to cycle through the modes to choose the right setting. A vehicle tire is the third mode. Once it sets for desired mode you need to put the cap on lock in place and the machine will fill to the pressure required. You can add psi if you choose to have more air in your tire or ball. It comes with a rechargeable battery, also has a back up battery that you can connect directly to your charging port in your car. This is helpful in the even that your battery is dead. It comes with attachments to fill any kind of ball that requires a needle. It also has led lights on the face of the inflator in the even you need to use in the dark. This is perfect for anyone, more so for those who might have a slow leak and cant get their tire fixed right away.

I chose this tire inflator /air compressor because the last one may have been “small and conveniently portable” but it was also such a waste of time and a definite waste of money! As soon as this guy arrived at my residence I opened the package and immediately started to check my tire pressure- which was SO low- then got my tires pumped up to their optimal pressure. MAN, I completely forgot how much better my car drives when my tire pressure is right as rain.

I was skeptical that something so small would work, but this device has proven to be really useful. In much less time than it takes to drive to a couple of gas stations and find a working air machine, you can break this bad boy out at home and fill up your tires. All you have to do is select the car setting, set the display to your recommended psi, then connect the device to your tire. Once connected, you will get a reading of how much air is currently in the tire. Next, pull the trigger and the device will auto inflate to the correct psi. I tested this on a car, truck and motorcycle and the psi reading seems to be pretty accurate. The device also has a button for a light, which works great for nighttime usage. There are settings for car, motorcycle, bike and basketball and it includes the different tips you might need for each. I used the rechargeable battery pack, but there is another attachment that allows you to use a cigarette adapter in case you’d like to leave the device in a trunk for emergencies. The battery pack comes with a usb cable, but it does not include the usb to ac adapter. Not a problem for me since I have a million of those, and also a million things I could just plug the usb cable into, but worth a mention.

I like this tire inflator so much that I bought a second one for my SUV. I have a big expensive compressor I keep in my RV, but it has to be connected to the battery of the RV which is great if I have to top off all the tires. If I just want to top of a tire or two, this small tire inflator is perfect. Much quicker as it has a battery, or you can use the cigarette lighter adapter. There are 4 modes and the PSI is saved, so I have one set for the RV, one for my car, one for my motorcycle and one for my bicycles. I quickly filled one RV tire from 66psi to 80psi and the inflator didnt feel very hot. Very happy with it.

I have a couple normal compressors, but theyre both a hassle to get out when I just need to air up the tires a few PSI. I got the AstroAI Air Compressor with the intention of it solving for that use case. I thought the form factor would be a REALLY nice feature, considering that the compressor can stand upright on its own. The reality, though, is that the usefulness is limited by the really short inflator hose. Even with 245/40-19s its easy for the valve step to be up and out of reach. Ive had to put the AstroAI on an overturned bucket on more than one occasion. While its awesome to not have a 12V cord strung back to an Aux power jack in your car, its good to have reasonable expectations of what you can do with that battery. I ran it down by 3/4 by filling 4 tires from ~35 PSI to 42 PSI. You set inflation pressure on the device, and it shuts off when it reaches the setting. Thats a nice feature because you dont have to keep checking the pressure. Its also good from the standpoint that the inflator is tragically slow. Filling larger tires, or from lower pressures (or both) could be a real problem for this unit. Its worth noting that you probably dont want to run this thing for long periods of time, either, as the compressor just isnt built for that. Speaking of batteries, this battery pack appears to be completely proprietary. While its possible that this will last for years and years, you will still have to (eventually) deal with the battery dying and not holding a charge. Fortunately, it looks like its made of normal 14500 cells, so you can rebuild the thing yourself (if you have 30 minutes, and a good attitude). For seasonal tire top-offs, bike tires, and pool toys, this is a decent occasional use inflator. Conditionally Recommended

I got in my truck yesterday to pick up a take-out sandwich and go visit a friend. My indicator panel told me I had a low air tire. I realized it was time to test my new tire inflator. I chose to use the car adapter because I felt the battery would probably work, but I suspected more than one tire was low, and this is a full-sized pickup truck, not a little car so there’s a fair amount of weight on those tires. I will test the battery option sometime when I am not so hungry, perhaps on my air mattress. So, the cord reached just far enough…barely. I do wish the cord were just a foot longer for the adapter. That, however is my ONLY complaint. With the truck running, I got plenty of power to add 10 pounds to one tire, 3 to another, and the front tire needed 7. The truck’s digital panel tells me how much it reads in each tire, and when I was finished with all 4 tires, the numbers were perfect. The digital readout on the machine doesn’t work perfectly as I pumped, but it’s good enough. The actual tire pressures were where they were supposed to be when I was done. Doing all 4 tires only took maybe 15 to 20 minutes which I considered to be amazing. It wasn’t a fast fill up, but it was efficient and did the job right there in my driveway. I told my friend about it and now he wants one for his truck. This little compressor worked like a charm and could definitely get me out of trouble out on the highway someday. I’m so happy I have it. What a great tool. The photos in the description are accurate and show the product very well. This is something almost everyone should have in their vehicle, but especially those of us with older trucks that are getting the leaky rim syndrome. It was super easy to use…actually easier than the gas station air pumps for me. This woman calls this an excellent product.

I love the convenience of this rechargeable air compressor. I check my tire pressure regularly and add air as necessary. The preset psi works great to shut it off when you reach the right pressure, and I confirmed the accuracy with a separate tire gauge. With my old unit, I had to plug into my car battery, and it took much longer to air up the tires. I had to worry about blown fuses, and the cord was a pain. None of that hassle with this one. It comes with attachments to fill other things as well. There is a needle for balls and a rubber tip for filling inflatable pools/toys. I have this in my garage right now, but it would also be good to keep in the trunk for emergencies. The light is not the brightest, but its enough to help you see what youre doing. As much as I like this tool, I took a star off because there is no way to keep all of the accessories together. You cant even clip them on to the unit itself. The lack of a case to protect the compressor and organize the parts is quite disappointing, and I will have to find something to use for this purpose.
