ASUS 21.5 inch Ultra Slim Gaming Computer Monitor - Full HD 1920x1080, 1ms Response Time, Built-in Speakers, HDMI Port, VGA Port - VP228HE

I ordered this to create a dual display setup. It was not the same model as the one I already had, but the specs and size were the same so I figured it would do. I set it up next to my existing monitor (HP Pavilion 22 cwa) and the color looked washed out. I checked the driver, spent time modifying the brightness, contrast, and any other settings in the menu to no improvement. Then I started to search and found this is not an uncommon complaint. I should I have checked the reviews more thoroughly.

Horrible for colors, has blur issues. This was a acrhistmas gift for my artist son. We will he returning it. Colors are all off despite him spending several hours attempting to adjust and tweak them. There was also blurring that should not be present in this monitor if it operated at the speed stated. Poor quality! What a disappointing Christmas morning :(

What an extremely poor delivery. Left by roadside mailbox, in the weather, where anyone driving by could have grabbed and dashed. I expect way more from delivery than this as its only 300 ft up the driveway to the from door that is covered and where most all other amazon deliveries are deposited.

I have to say it took some time to make the settings adjustments right for a second monitor but the finished product isn’t bad. I put in for an extended warranty as well. I’m looking forward to finish projects much faster!

Great Monitor for gamers who don’t want to spend too much. I daily use it for doing work and playing games and the picture quality is superb. Highly recommended for the price only con is the monitor stand upon which it sits disconnects from the monitor if you try and pick it up but you can see it’s designed that way for maximum adjustability.

First off let me say that this is NOT a 120hz monitor. Not only did I magically pay $150 for this thing, but it was falsely advertised and I can not be more upset. Despite all of that I can say that it is a great secondary monitor for my mother whom Ive decided to give this to. The 75hz AGAIN SEVENTY FIVE HERTY REFRESH RATE works well with my mothers simple work tasks and responsibilities. I would not recommend this to any hard core gamer and especially for the price I paid for it.

For gaming as a second monitor for discord and the other stuff.

Good for the money

I was surprised at how light it was, it was also easy to screw the stand on. Im buying my parts separately so I havent tried out the monitor yet, will update when I have the time.

We bought this as a second monitor because its the newer version of our other Asus monitor. We were expecting them to be pretty close to the same. Its crap. The picture quality is so low, I hope you dont need to read anything small on it. Everything is fuzzy and grainy and its so dim- and thats on the best setting I could get it on. I wish I hadnt destroyed the box or I would be trying to return it. But its under $100 you say? Yeah and its worth about $20. If you have no monitor and HAVE to get something cheap, still look for other options first.
