Using a display port to hdmi I’m running 1080p at 75hz. This monitor is much easier on my eyes than my regular work monitor. Easy to set up and looks great.

    a. 27 in viewable but I would not call this frameless. From the outer edge of the frame to the viewable area there is a 1/4 inch of black all the way around. This is visible in the the Amazon images of the monitor. The monitor slopes out from the front to the back so the total width is a tad bigger the what the front of the frame makes it look like. b. Slim design is a questionable term to use when describing this monitor. Its no more or less slim then any other modern monitor on the market in its class. The back arches out from either side. c. The controls being on the back are a pain. There is plenty of room at the bottom for the controls like any other monitor. d. Mine runs at 1080p and 75Hz with no issues. Not sure what issue the one review was having but I attached a screenshot of my display settings. Its a good monitor for $150.00 and at that price you should not expect it to be the most amazing thing in the world. If you are looking for something a bit larger for your tired old eyes and dont want to pay allot of money it will probably do you just fine. I have always found lower end Asus monitors to be perfectly adequate for general and business usage. Id happily buy another one and probably will in the future. I have only had it for a few days so Ill update this review if anything changes.

I really like this monitor. I chose it for my dual monitor set up and I think they look sleek

Picture quality is fine. The stand is warped and wobbles on a flat surface. There is no power button. Instead, there is a joystick on the back right side of the monitor. Two taps to the right on the joystick are required to power off. Using two of these side by side is inconvenient because the joystick is difficult to reach on the left hand monitor.

The display quality is what I was hoping for in a 27” monitor for under $150. It is clearer and a much larger display than my current monitor. I did not want to spend more than $150 so I am satisfied with my purchase. I originally thought the angle of the display could not be Tilted and it was angled downward when assembled. But I found the monitor does tilt backwards and the display is now just right. I did a pixel check when setting up the monitor and did not find any dead pixels. I have my monitor connected by the supplied HDMI cable and did not have any connection issues.

works great on a mac or pc. It does not come with a remote so little bit of a pain to set the monitor options. The speaker is not very loud. Bright monitor but I probably will buy a small tv next time.

No built in speakers was the deal breaker for me. It only has a 3.5mm audio plug in for sound. Overall, really good monitor and still recommended if you have speakers or dont mind using your headphones alot.

I have had an older version of this monitor for several years now and was so impressed with the quality that I recently purchased another one for a dual monitor set-up on my desk. My co-workers were so impressed that we have now purchased 2 more for others in the office!

I like the price tag and I like that is is Asus. I have had perfect luck with their monitors in the past. Always start out with a few sticky pixels, get those working, tune er up and good to go. I like that it is 75Hz and I can run this mode no problem with Intel UHD 630 on Displayport output. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who doesnt like to waste money on the newest sales pitch. One major complaint I have about this monitor is the horrific menu controls. The most annoying thing about them is that there is not a dedicated source control button! This is extremely stupid. For example, to switch from HDMI to DisplayPort I have to click a button to go into a menu, click on a different button to pick Input Select, click on a different button to move to Display Port and then click on a different button to accept my selection! So dumb, my other monitors all I have to do is press *one button*, the source selection button, to cycle between the input options and when I am where I want to be I stop and it changes to use that source. This is so quick and easy! This is how every monitor on the planet should be, any monitor that isnt has been designed by a dingleberry. And that is not the only issue with the buttons madness on this thing. The menu controls on this monitor are truly horrible, there are many annoying factors about how they have to be manipulated to accomplish anything but Id still recommend the monitor because after getting the initial tuning done I only need to use the accursed buttons once or twice a day.

The frameless ASUS VA27VQSE eye care monitor features a 27-inch curved and 178° wide viewing angle for a vivid image quality with minimal color shift. Eliminate tracing and ensure crisp and clear video playback with its featured Adaptive-Sync technology and refresh rate of up to 75Hz.
