> 3 dayI am pretty blown away by his laptop. I had been using a Dell Inspiron 5755 (12 GB RAM) for years as my work computer, and this is a huge step up. I wish the screen was larger (15.1), but other than that. It is amazing. With 16 GB RAM it exceeds anything I need, and I imagine this would be a dream for a gamer, especially a teen, who would appreciate the lights on the keyboard more than I do. Easy set up. It is, also, surprisingly quiet. It is a bit pricey, but the performance is top notch so far.

> 3 dayFirst and foremost- we mainly use Macs/Apple but a few of our family members game frequently (which is definitely not something Apples are known for being any good at) and my husband is an Android/Windows developer, so we have several Windows machines around, including one he built specifically for gaming last year. So while Im an Apple expert of sorts, Windows boxes are still a bit foreign to me.

Greater than one weekThis is my second ASUS laptop. The 1st ASUS Zen lasted 1 year before the keyboard lighting quit and the audio went on the blink. I thought Id have better luck with this expensive ROG Strix Scar, however, on or about Feb 15, 2023 (about 45 days after taking delivery from Amazon.com), I started receiving a BIOS warning the battery was low and to plug in the adapter. Each time the battery had at least 45 percent power. I could eventually log in after ignoring the BIOS warning and turning off the computer a few times. I cant return this very expensive system to Amazon.com; the return expiration was Feb 6, 2023 (30 days)...Im very upset I paid about $2K for this product in good faith and now after only 45 days (probably used a total of 60 hours), its junk! Now I have to invest my time trying to contact and work with ASUS customer support (a headache in the past). I do not recommend buying an ASUS Zen or ROG Strix Scar computer.

> 3 dayThis is a really good laptop. Every game that I have thrown at it runs smoothly. Call of Duty runs great. Forza Horizon 5 runs great. GTA runs great. Battery life is what should be expected of powerful gaming laptop like this. When unplugged youll get a couple hrs if running it on the highest settings. If you optimize it and put it on silent youll get more out of it if you want to run light tasks like browsing the web or using other light tasks. The touchpad has its issues. There is a delay in the movement of the cursor and at times the touchpad just stops working. Both are frustrating especially in situations where I dont have my mouse. Id expect issues like this to not happen on a $2000 computer. Other than the touchpad this computer is solid choice. Definitely loving it.

> 3 daySummary: My current desktop is an older Dell XPS 8920 from 2017, which has a i7-7700 processor. Its still decently fast running Windows 10 Home. I havent had a dedicated gaming machine before, so I am very sure that this i9-12900 with the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti card is going to be insanely fast! The last laptop we bought was a 13-inch MacBook back in August 2020.
