> 3 dayIve been using Asus products for years to be fair to the brand. However, my experience with this laptop is that after just longer than two months Im working with Asus support to have it fixed. Its been a pain since I got it with the I/O acting up. Today the laptop shut off randomly when plugging in monitors to the thunderbolt and USBC and they are dead.

> 3 dayIm an Asus fanboy all the way; the only thing to comment on is a mismatch in the product description.

> 3 dayThe ASUS ROG Strix G16 far exceeded my expectations, delivering the best performance and features I have ever seen in a laptop. The specs are simply tops with a Core i9-13980HX powering this beast of a machine that is trimmed out with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, and incredibly, an NVidia GeForce RTX 4070 video card that alone is unbelievable in a laptop.

> 3 dayThis is an OP laptop, excellent for gaming almost any new game, playing fps games is really smooth with that 300hz screen, when working at top speed fans there are not as loud as I expected and you can easily control every aspect of performance, the mux switch is an excellent addition, the only con is that doesnt come with a camera but overall its a must have laptop if you are looking for better performance, with that 12gen Intel chip things fly!

> 3 dayThe battery lasts about an hour, but you have to think, for the type of hardware this machine has, it lasts quite long. I wouldnt have it any other way. I love playing SWTOR on it. I use it for everything. Good laptop, would buy again if I needed to.

Greater than one weekBest gaming laptop for the money. This computer is an amazing value even with GPU prices dropping. This thing is more powerful as most desktops (14 cores!). Still very portable and useable for everyday things like work editing and gaming on the go. The only complaint I have is the battery life. Between the i9 CPU and the 125w 3070ti GPU this thing wont not last long when not plugged in. IMO it also looks a lot better once I had it in person compared to what I was expecting. If I could only have one computer in my life with out spending a ton of money I would hands down pick this laptop. I am very happy with my purchase so far.

> 3 dayRunning Debian Linux with the NVidia drivers, I was able to (thanks to the community Kernel contributions, and no thanks to ASUS) dual boot Windows and Linux with only one issue so far: Sound doesnt work. Bluetooth and wifi works (need the firmware on your install media to do a netinstall), my gaming headphone dongle works as a workaround, but the onboard sound is no go. Primus works. Performance in games is good. But theres no audio output yet.
