> 24 hourThe laptop overall has a very good build quality, I like it very much! The software are well written to change all the settings. Only the battery life is poor.

> 24 hourThe ASUS ROG Strix G16 far exceeded my expectations, delivering the best performance and features I have ever seen in a laptop. The specs are simply tops with a Core i9-13980HX powering this beast of a machine that is trimmed out with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, and incredibly, an NVidia GeForce RTX 4070 video card that alone is unbelievable in a laptop.

> 24 hourSuper fast machine. Does not have a webcam, but that is actually perfect for my use. More USB ports would be ideal. Fans can be very noisy, and even the keyboard can start to get hot when it gets really going. I am using a KLIM cooling stand, which helps a lot.

> 24 hourIve been buyng gaming laptops since before they were really ready for gaming... this the computer that makes me think finally the technology has caught up to my desire for a quiet and cool gaming experience. I cant hear a loud fan chugging when Im playing video games, and Ive barely felt any heat off of this thing.

> 24 hourComing from a desktop rig I built in 2019 (ryzen 7 3700x, rtx 2070 super, 32gb ram) this thing annihilates it in gaming. Some initial thoughts after playing with it for a few hours tonight:

> 24 hourWhile the performance is great, it is very unstable and lacks many features.

> 24 hourIt was a disaster from moment one. Touchpad not working, so googled and nothing worked. Called C/S and they were like, whats a computer? Like that clueless. Windows wouldnt load right. No manual to be found on their website to tell you about the features etc. Just a huge waste of time and tying up of $2k for a while. Got an Acer Nitro with 64GB memory, i9 chip, 3060 GPU, etc. instead for $500 less or so and it worked out perfectly. Love it.

> 24 hourMy particular job requires the use of many VMs running all at once, so I was really keen on getting a laptop with an i9 processor. Looking in that market, anything with an i9 is easily $2K and onward. I picked this laptop up on the recent Amazon Black Friday deal for $1,649.99 which was an absolute steal! Im a big fan of the sleek black thin look (which is not common among some of the other gaming laptops like Alienware) along with the option to disable the extra lighting (it looks great with it on). Its just a personal preference of mine to not have my laptop look like a Christmas tree in a professional work environment. I just threw MW2 on here and it runs maxed out with a solid 60 fps throughout. This truly is an all-in-one package for me in terms of work and play. I went out of my way to upgrade my ram to 64 GB for the purposes of running multiple VMs and it runs fantastically. My only caveat (but this is common now-a-days with these manufactured laptops) is the little amounts of bloatware that was present in the operating system; but that was a quick uninstall. All in all, fantastic product with a great build, I am really glad I pulled the trigger on this purchase.

> 24 hourHe hecho un upgrade a 64 de ram y 3 tb de almacenamiento. La batería creo qñse puede clasificar de meh... los portátiles gaming no son famosos por tener un rendimiento de batería increible... me ha gustado, el tema de la pantalla... tiene fugas de luz pero la vdd no es un problema, al menos para mí, porque no es algo que se aprecie la mayor parte del tiempo...

> 24 hourThe laptop performs well. Heating can be addressed effectively through Manual Mode in the Armoury Crate. The main issue is the WiFi frequently disconnecting.
