> 3 dayCouple weeks ago I requested to return my Asus G15 Advantage laptop in favor for this one, which is the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 with i9-12900h CPU and Nvidia 3070-ti GPU. However, they sent me a used one! I chose to buy the brand new one, but they sent me a used one without its original packaging, etc. The Asus G15 Advantage laptop I got about 3 weeks ago was brand-new in its original, sealed packages with serial codes and everything, etc. I think the Asus Scar here is low on quantity; that’s probably why I got a used one, but even then I shouldnt have paid full price for a used one.

> 3 dayMy particular job requires the use of many VMs running all at once, so I was really keen on getting a laptop with an i9 processor. Looking in that market, anything with an i9 is easily $2K and onward. I picked this laptop up on the recent Amazon Black Friday deal for $1,649.99 which was an absolute steal! Im a big fan of the sleek black thin look (which is not common among some of the other gaming laptops like Alienware) along with the option to disable the extra lighting (it looks great with it on). Its just a personal preference of mine to not have my laptop look like a Christmas tree in a professional work environment. I just threw MW2 on here and it runs maxed out with a solid 60 fps throughout. This truly is an all-in-one package for me in terms of work and play. I went out of my way to upgrade my ram to 64 GB for the purposes of running multiple VMs and it runs fantastically. My only caveat (but this is common now-a-days with these manufactured laptops) is the little amounts of bloatware that was present in the operating system; but that was a quick uninstall. All in all, fantastic product with a great build, I am really glad I pulled the trigger on this purchase.

> 3 dayIve recently been turned on to ASUS more, and have not really been disappointed. I converted all my wifi networks from eero to ASUS Rog/Zen devices, and have not looked back. As a result, when I had the opportunity to try out the Strix G16, I had to.

Greater than one weekI recently found myself in life where I needed a laptop more then using my gaming desktop. I had a nice higher end system and was scared to make the jump to a laptop, but let me just say, this blew expectations away.

> 3 dayThis is an OP laptop, excellent for gaming almost any new game, playing fps games is really smooth with that 300hz screen, when working at top speed fans there are not as loud as I expected and you can easily control every aspect of performance, the mux switch is an excellent addition, the only con is that doesnt come with a camera but overall its a must have laptop if you are looking for better performance, with that 12gen Intel chip things fly!
