> 3 dayThis laptop is a beast. On Turbo it is loud, but on performance its quiet even if being pushed relatively hard. and if Asus Armoury Crate to be believed, the heat is fine. It is also CERTAINLY not hot. Compared to some real furnaces that would burn my hand Ive had in the past, this is nothing.

> 3 dayRunning Debian Linux with the NVidia drivers, I was able to (thanks to the community Kernel contributions, and no thanks to ASUS) dual boot Windows and Linux with only one issue so far: Sound doesnt work. Bluetooth and wifi works (need the firmware on your install media to do a netinstall), my gaming headphone dongle works as a workaround, but the onboard sound is no go. Primus works. Performance in games is good. But theres no audio output yet.

> 3 dayThis is a really good laptop. Every game that I have thrown at it runs smoothly. Call of Duty runs great. Forza Horizon 5 runs great. GTA runs great. Battery life is what should be expected of powerful gaming laptop like this. When unplugged youll get a couple hrs if running it on the highest settings. If you optimize it and put it on silent youll get more out of it if you want to run light tasks like browsing the web or using other light tasks. The touchpad has its issues. There is a delay in the movement of the cursor and at times the touchpad just stops working. Both are frustrating especially in situations where I dont have my mouse. Id expect issues like this to not happen on a $2000 computer. Other than the touchpad this computer is solid choice. Definitely loving it.

> 3 dayWhere is the # pad on this unit, as it is shown on the photos. That was the selling point for me. Feeling conned. Very disappointed.

> 3 dayWhen the laptop worked it got super hot and I had to buy a cooling mat while playing any game no matter its requirements. There are only two USB ports on the left-hand side of the laptop making mouse usage awkward. The laptop died and would not turn on after 6 months of usage. Its just a paperweight in my closet now. Made in China, its my own fault for paying 2k for a Chinese laptop.

> 3 dayThe laptop is overall great, other than not having cameras for some models, and a pretty short battery life, there isn’t much to complain about. Getting delivered a broken laptop is something that has to deal with the shipping industry since most companies ALWAYS check their products before shipment. I got mine recently and I am in shock. My overall wifi connection was 1-2x better. I went from 30 Mbps to 50 Mbps. I thought it was a problem with my wifi router, but no, it was my laptop. i5, rtx 2060. My ping was a stable 40ms, so pretty decent. The quality and gameplay is absolutely STUNNING! I could watch videos crystal clear. I bought the 300hz and 165hz for a comparison, and now I use my 300hz for movies, streaming, watching shorts, etc. I use the 165hz for gaming, work, music, etc. I would recommend this laptop model as a cheap starter budget laptop to those who cannot afford a desktop pc. It rivals with the Acer Nitro 5, but I think ASUS ROG takes the win here.

Greater than one weekThe machine was a great deal and was running very well. My set up was mostly using an external monitor, and after the 2nd day, no display. After trying several suggestions online, and speaking with support, i had to send the system in for repair. Its been 15 days, and i barley have any deatails from ASUS. I strongly regret, NOT just sending this machine back for a full rebate. I only have a few days left to do that, but I wont have the machine back from Asus before then. Im gonna be regreting having this machine the rest of its life.
