> 3 dayI bought this computer for my roommate on Black Friday so it was a great deal. Ive read most of the reviews for it here on Amazon so I had some expectations about how it would work.

Greater than one weekThis laptop is a no fluff, basic computer that doesn’t have a ton of storage and isn’t super fast, but it is perfect for doing school work and streaming tv and movies. If you are a big gamer, this probably is not the #1 choice, but I just wanted something that was easy to use and I could do work on and watch Netflix. This has been great so far and is lightweight and has a decent sized screen. It’s a great option for college for writing papers. Windows 10 runs smoothly and it’s great for just browsing the web. Overall, a good, basic laptop and a great price!

> 3 dayThis laptop comes with 4gb ram on board and 128 SSD all you need to Spend another $100 to get 16gb Ram and 500gb or 1Tb depends on the brand. but with total 240+100 =$340 cost this laptop has speed even its corei3 with this upgrade it can beat $800 laptop. But there is only 3 things i found ok because of the cost what you can get for $240

> 3 dayIf you need a computer for everyday work and dont want to pay a ton, this is the computer for you. Its got a great processor and it already has a good SSD so you dont even need to change that. It only comes with 4GB of ram but there is a dock for you to add more (I recommend 16GB). That gets me to the only annoying thing (and its such a tiny thing I could not even dock it a star). There is no easy access to upgrade the ram. You have to unscrew and pry out the entire bottom panel which is a tricky process. But once you do that, you can easily add the new RAM and the panel comes back on very easily. From that point on, you have a zippy little computer that punches well above its weight.

> 3 dayLove that it is not small! Needed a bigger laptop and this was perfect!!! Well was excited and did the Asus 90 day warranty as well, to be shot down cause the laptop won’t come on at all! Called technical support to troubleshoot, and laptop is dead! Awaiting replacement. I pray this second one will not let me down. I will get the Asus 90 day warranty on that as well.

> 3 dayInitial reaction - expect a $300 laptop to do $300 laptop things. Its not powerful. It can run kind of slow simply because the specs of the hardware arent great. Wouldnt recommend this for your main computer, and you shouldnt expect to run any modern games on it.

Greater than one weekif your looking for a gaming laptop then this laptop is not for you. If your looking for a work from home or small business type laptop, then this is it. Just upgrade the ram at minimum 4GB DDR4 SODIMM RAM Module 3200MHz (total 8Gb) your good to go. That small upgrade was only $6 for that stick of ram.. The backlit keyboard is a plus. I have to say I was totally sceptic about this purchase, but Im satisfied so far and mind you it was only $254.
