> 3 dayThis unit failed out of the box and would not power up. It was returned with all original packaging and items but Gimme a Hug claims the accessories were missing. They kept 19% for a dead PC.

Greater than one weekNo problems with charging, etc. But the desktop screen is renewing itself even though no refresh is intended.

> 3 dayI have been building and buying computers for years, I mainly used desktops because of the work I do, mostly engineering programs and it was much cheaper for me to build a powerful desktop with the graphics I needed then buy a laptop. I bought my wife a Asus laptop for her birthday 8 years ago (I7 with touch screen) I was impressed and bought a few more a year or two later for our CNC programmers to use on the floor. My wife still uses hers and it still performs pretty damn good. So l bought this one for myself. I am not extremely impressed but not really disappointed. It boots up in less then 10 seconds from off to desktop, so that is decent. Everything seems to operate at reasonable speed, I could do without the bloat ware. I just expected a little more lightning speed in a computer. Battery life, not measured but seems a little short, screen seems adequate.

> 3 dayI held out a long time before landing on this laptop--kept bouncing between HP and Dell models until this showed up quite unexpectedly and then got snatched up quickly. I jumped on it at a very attractive price for the infrastructure I wanted that this had: latest I7 chip, 16 GB RAM, 512 SSD. Plus I wanted as many USB ports as possible along with a Thunderbolt port; never could find an HP (my previous laptops brand) or Dell with the right mix. A really nice plus is the function key that can deactivate the touch pad--I use a mouse and sometimes accidentally hitting the touch pad can be a problem. Finally, I liked the Indie Black color. Im not a gamer so cant comment on how this model handles those requirements.
