Pros: Great vivid colors. The range in hues is nice. Nice strong floss. Cons: I got 198 different skeins. (2 less than indicated) I was give 23 repeat colors!!!!!!! Thats a whole lot of repeats when the description says that you get 200 different colors. I didnt include the colors that were almost too close to tell. The range of hues is good, but not great. Lots of colors that I dont know that I will use. They are more muted, shading colors. So if you calculated it out, I got 175 different colors, 23 repeats and 198 total skeins. That margin is too big for me. I wont buy this item again. If there were less than 10 repeat colors I would probably re-purchase, but 23 is ridiculous. IMO

Wow this is a lot of embroidery thread! I didnt receive any duplicate colors. If youre just starting out this is the perfect set. Its kind of overwhelming how many different colors you get. I havent even used half of this, probably have only finished three or four colors. Its a great value for the money especially compared to buying individual skiens and embroidery thread at local craft stores.

I bought this pack for cross stitching. It has a great variety of colors, all labeled with DMC #s. Be warned: if you are buying this for stitching, the floss is definitely not the same quality as DMC. It frays quite a bit more making it difficult to thread the needle. Its mildly frustrating. At the same time, the price was right and it was convenient. I will probably never have to buy floss again! If youre buying this for friendship bracelets- its a great product, and if you are a patient stitched this is a great bargain.
