Atom Drop Deck Longboard - 39 Inch

> 3 dayThis longboard is a great board the wood is solid and the wheels are grippy and ride over everything. One thing that should be pointed out is that you should loosen the nuts on the wheels when you get it in the mail. Also I would either clean and re-lubricate the bearings or buy new ones as the ones supplied with this one are not the best. I would buy either the bones reds or super reds. Overall this board is durable, easy to ride, and fun. The grip tape is very coarse

> 3 dayThis is a solid board, especially for the money. There really isn’t anything that needs replacing or upgrading if your a beginner or intermediate rider. Just take it out of the box and ride it. I haven’t been skating in over 30 years and I hopped on this thing and it all came back to me. The fact that this has a low center of gravity and is easy to ride makes a huge difference too. I’m glad I picked this board after looking at several others. Perfect choice and I’d buy it again without a second thought.

Greater than one weekLove it. Had to tighten the trucks a bit, but as a beginner, I felt very comfortable on this

06-06-2025Mine came in black instead of the brown shown and I think I like it better. Nice ride, sturdy/flexible and handles well. Wheels are grippy and ready to ride out of the box. No issues as of yet, would definitely buy again. I only cruise and ride to the train station. Good drop on the board and the dips let you know where u are. Get complements all the time. Wouldnt mind getting the brown one also.

> 3 dayJust starting to learn with my son and we had some cheap skateboards we started with. Did some reading online and decided on this Atom Board because longboarding seemed like the way to go as a 40+ dad. All I can say is wow. This board is very smooth and going downhill is an experience because the velocity I pick up with this board is amazing. The larger softer wheels make all the difference . The actual board construction is solid and the trucks were tight but not to tight to turn. The graphics look cool and make the board look like I paid twice as much. I highly recommend the Atom Board . My son got on it and I think we are going to buy a second one.

Greater than one weeklook, i’m gonna be honest. it’s not worth the money. you should save up for a more expensive board. The wheels are AWFUL i put some “old boys” into these stock wheels, and they spun for about 15 seconds. these “old boys” are ceramic bearings costing about 49-50$. Just buy new wheels, new trucks, and you will have a better board, but it’s not worth the time. my sister still isn’t happy with her board, with some bones reds in them, it’s really a waste of money, i would range 125-150-250 for a really good board. i have a santa cruz and i got it for 200 dollars, it’s AMAZING!

Greater than one weekThe board and trucks are nice and responsive. However, its a bit stiff for my taste.

> 3 dayHonestly its not a bad board for the money, but the wheels came a little tight and so did the trucks. Once I tweek them a little bit it should be perfect. Its fast, turns good, and its got a good solid feel to it as well. Along with being light weight and not too long 39 inches. So a perfect crusing around campus board.

> 3 dayI like the design and feel of the board, but for some reason the 80 grit silicon carbide is peeling off from the back end of the board. Is there any way I could get help so this boards grip stops peeling off?

> 3 dayThe board has a grey surface layer (The rough sandpaper-like top that you stand on.) that is not bonded to the solid board surface at the narrow part of one of the curves at the ends of the board. It looks as if there is an airpocket, 2-3 incheswide, and there is a wide gap of 1inch opening between the two layers where the material is stretched flat above the board surface instead of being bonded to the surface following the contour of the board. My husband wants to just try to glue and clamp it himself, but I doubt that would be very durable. I requested a replacement. decribing the defect. The replacement arrived promptly in two days on a Sunday which was excellenct customer service. The second board has this exact same defect even more pronounced than did the first board. Other than this one deal breaker defect, it is exactly what my son wanted and otherwise is as described on the website. He loves the design and style and quality and it is just so frustrating for him to keep waiting for a non-defective one well let him keep. We still want this board IF we can be provided with one without this defect. How might we be able to resolve this with the company? I see no other way to try to reach them other than to post this comment.
