Greater than one weekIts a pretty good toy for younger kids but only with super vision because we had one break pretty easily, they are fun and make lots of noise though. We decorated ours and used them as props for easter. The durability was fine, they seem as though they are going last a long time. The thickness was its weak point and the eggs are pretty thin and can easily break if your not careful. Yes they make a great gift for a baby shower, easter, holidays, or just for fun. Recommended for someone who like to paint on things or make tons of loud noise!
