I needed thread and ordered through Amazon which was fast and easy. This thread is made in Italy. Although expensive, each spool has much more than regular thread and it does not produce the lint of cheaper threads. I use the all cotton thread for quilting.

I have used Aurofil thread for quilting and sewing and have found it to be a top quality thread. However, the thread breaks quite often on this spool.

Aurafil thread is a top quality 2 ply 100 % thread that doesnt pill in the machine. Colours dont fade.
