AUVON Dual Channel TENS Unit Muscle Stimulator Machine with 20 Modes, 2 and 2x4 TENS Unit Electrode Pads

I was skeptical at first regarding this TENS unit but I am glad I bought. IT WORKS. I have been dealing with low back pain 2ndary to lifting/repositioning patients despite mechanical assists. Ive used shiatsu pads,lidocaine patches, etc. This actually works. I just keep resetting the minutes for longer therapy. I wished it came with more pads. I use additional e gels on the older pads for better connectivity/conduction. Its a good buy.

Does what its supposed to do

The Auvon Dual Channel TENS is an inexpensive, easy to use muscle stimulator with several therapy options. I use this home unit to augment TENS use at my physical therapy sessions. Works as well as the units used for my PT sessions.

Just a little hard to put it some areas without help.

I finally ordered a tens unit after dealing with years of sciatic pain. It got so bad this time that I knew I needed to do something different. This unit comes with everything you need. I did order extra pads just to have them on hand. The unit was fully charged and holds a charge incredibly well. Maybe its me, but I cant choose submodes. I have so far only used either port A or port B on its own, but I can only choose the 1 mode. When I chose 2 I just get repeated jolts that feel like tiny needles...not exactly a good feeling. I also had to switch over to port B because port A seemed to do the same thing. I have changed the pads in case it was the connection, but that didnt seem to help. When it works, it works well. It has really helped alleviate a lot of pain. I used it 3 times throughout the first day and have been able to go down to once per day 5 days later.

This is my third tens unit this one is the best I’m getting older and my muscles are getting tired. This works perfect for relaxing the muscles and tendons.

I have painful hip arthritis and my PT suggested an IFC system which uses a different frequency than TENs - IFC/IFT. This unit (while listed for in IFC/IFT searchers) has no text in the description for either. It also looks like a really cheap product with very thin documentation and only graphics for what each mode. Given the number of these units on Amazon, I imagine a Chinese cottage industry producing these devices with similar features. I didnt notice any improvement when using it.

For the price, this is a great device. I had shoulder pain for 2 days and used this and it alleviated it quite a bit!

My PT suggested I get one of these units and after some research I decided to go with this particular one. It’s simple and easy to use, has enough different modes and intensity levels but not too many. It’s definitely helped me with longer lasting relief from tight/strained muscles than a personal massage, hot tub or massage chair. I use it almost daily, love it!

The unit is small enough that it is easy to store everything back in the box after each use. I really like the fact that the cords are long enough to use on any 2 parts of your body (Ive only used 2 pads at a time) and you dont have to be sitting top of an electrical outlet to use it, because the battery, once charged up, lasts for several sessions. My only complaint is that it is difficult to see the different types of stim to see what to select, and the visuals that are supposed to tell you what each setting does dont really explain it well enough for me. I just tried different ones until I found a couple that I like, and then alternate between them, depending where Im putting stim to on that session.
