> 24 hourI have one of these for ALL my retro consoles now. They are awesome. It really cuts down on wire clutter so its a lot easier to avoid a cable jungle behind the TV. It doesnt upscale the output in any way (didnt expect it to), it just allows you to use your consoles with newer TVs without getting bulky adapters or messing with all the silly composite cables. They work great!!

> 24 hourFor what it is it works fine I just am not sure if it makes to big of a difference for my gaming experience. To start with, it’s not the most straightforward device. There are four separate components that need to be all connected and it must be plugged in to a power source to function. It has two display options, native 4:3 aspect ratio and 16:9 widescreen. There is a switch on the side to toggle between the two settings. I tested the display both with and without the device and found that it did not upscale the graphics all that much. In the 16:9 setting it does get pretty blurry but it at least does fill the screen. The sound did not initially work in 4:3 setting. Toggled to 16:9 and it worked, and then kept working when switched back to 4:3. Overall this will help run an N64, Super Nintendo or Game cube through hdmi ports but probably only worth it if your tv only has hdmi.

> 24 hourPlugging in the micro usb is a bit inconvenient but works like a charm when the AV plug in isn’t an option.

> 24 hourI purchased this product to be able to display my GameCube onto my computer monitor, as well as being able to stream the game to friends to watch. There is a little switch to change aspect ratios to fit more modern television screens, however it does make the image a little more stretched, which is expected. One thing which I, as well as many others, have noticed, is the device appears to run a little warm (or even hot) after extended usage. The company makes you aware of it within the attached manual, however I do not believe this should even be happening to start with. Another thing to note is that my package did not come with the promised USB power adapter, which I had to contact the support team in order to get that sorted out. To my it is not that big of a deal, however I did believe it was note-worthy.

> 24 hourI know there are upscalers available that do a better job than this, but you’ll pay more for them than the console. I’ve never used one of those fancy jobs and probably never will because I’m just a casual gamer. I have tried several other converters though, and this one is by far the best I’ve found. IMO, unless you run a N64 YouTube channel or something like that, this is the best and more valuable solution.
