> 3 dayIf you want to run your antique Nintendo 64, first released in 1996, along with a more modern HD TV, then this Nintendo 64 to HDMI Converter will enable that. The converter comes with all the cables that you need, including s USB power supply. The result is a decent display. What more can you ask for?

> 3 dayLooked good on screen for about 10 minutes, setup was easy enough to hook up and get going for the N64. However 10 minutes in my kid bumped the console and the screen froze. Reset the console and suddenly ‘no signal’ popped up. Spent the next hour trying to reconnect, reset, and used different TVs and cables. Not sure if my console or the converter but very disappointed it didn’t work again after a very minor touch.

> 3 dayBeen looking for something to convert my N64 RCA cable into something that I could play on my modern HDTV that has no RCA inputs and was hopeful this one would work. Tried multiple HDMI cables and micro usb cables but none seem to work in getting a signal from my N64 to my HDTV. My N64 still works on my parents old tv with RCA inputs so looks like my unit was defective.

> 3 daySmall size, short cables, excellent picture quality! Confirmed it works with N64, Super Nintendo, and Gamecube. I have an entire game cabinet using three of these and no issues with any of them! One note, on the Super Nintendo, I had to use it without the USB power cable. If I connected USB power, power would feedback into the Nintendo and cause it to not boot. Works completely fine without the power connected on the Super Nintendo, all others require USB power.

20-11-2024Weve kept all our Nintendos. I guess we have all of the old cartridge based ones. Theres just something intangible about playing the real Super Mario Brothers on an old NES, or Ocarina of Time on an N64. The N64 in particular, with its oddball controller, is a great experience for my family. They still dont really have anything like 4 player Goldeneye. The real problem is that I dont have a TV with the older connections, RCA, composite, S-Video. I actually have been using a really old adapter for coaxial cable but this isnt 1985. With this adapter I can just use HDMI on any monitor or TV or projector in the house. Finally, I can enjoy crisp, reliable, hassle free video from my N64 or Super Nintendo. After playing for many hours at a time, this unit doesnt get too warm, doesnt have any flickering or other problems, and just seems to work. I have no reason not to expect it to work for years. Setup is easy. You do need to plug the USB charger in (which is basically a phone charger), and the Nintendos video cable, and the HDMI cable to your TV. Thats it. It just works from there. Manage your expectations. If youre playing SNES or N64 games emulated in native high resolution, you will be surprised that your old console doesnt actually make modern video resolutions. You might need to play with contrast and brightness, maybe even fit the picture to your TV Screen. I havent had any problems, but the quality of the picture is more or less the same as it was when I was a kid. I love it, but if you were hoping for a remastered version, perhaps you can buy that from Nintendo for their newer consoles. For the money its a reasonable value.

> 3 dayEasy plug and play. Quality is blurry at times, but then again the N64 itself is a blurry console to begin with, but that didn’t bother us a kid. And upon hooking this on the HDTV, only gripe is that it needs a separate power source, however it brought nostalgia feels…and that’s worth every penny IMO.

> 3 dayWorks great and comes with the cables you need, and also has a switch to change from the original screen ratio to 16:9 (doesn’t actually change it, stretches screen to be 16:9)
