> 3 dayJust ordered this Dove baby lotion this in October 2020, and the bottle now comes with a pump! I was initially hesitant to buy this with the spout pictured, so that was a nice surprise. Gentle on baby’s skin without any fragrance.

> 3 dayMy daughter has eczema I’ve probably tried every body wash and lotion to find a perfect fit . The dove body wash is nice but the lotion sucks it absorbs Into her skin and within an hour it’s like u never put lotion on her. For the price and the fact I’ve NEVER hated a dove product I was disappointed. I use the Johnson n Johnson sensitive with coco butter works amazing.

Greater than one weekI usually love the Dove product line, finding Dove personal care products to be reasonably priced and well designed to deliver just what I like. That said, I found that this Baby Dove Lotion fell short of my expectation. Before trying it out on a real baby (a grandbaby in this case), I tried it a couple of times on my hands and arms: Nice consistency, thick-bodied. I appreciate that it is hypoallergenic, PH balanced, and fragrance free (and it is truly zero-fragrance). Personally, I prefer a light fragrance - something that Dove has done well with their facial cleansers and after-shave balms. But considering that this is a baby-friendly product, I understand why fragrance-free may be preferred. My complaint is with the post-application greasiness. Call it greasy or what you will, but it left me with a sensation of a residue on my skin - not silky but more like greasy. Both times I used it, after 10 minutes or so, I was finally so creeped out over the sensation of something on my hands that I gave up and washed them clean with soap and water (I actually waited half an hour the second time). I assume this moisturizes well and does no harm, but the uncomfortable feeling earns this only about 3 1/2 stars in my estimation. I assume safe to use on baby?, but I wont be using it on me. If I may add an additional thought regarding packaging. I DO advise buying in this squeeze bottle format, which is simple and problem free to use. I say that because I had also sampled the this same product in the 20 ounce pump dispenser version. The pump did not work - at all. So Id go with this one.
