Perfectly simple safety stap to install and use.

Our dog has tried her hardest to destroy our trash can. Its got so many dents and dings, and the top plastic piece is tore up, but the two straps we used have kept her out. I dont have kids, but I feel like it would work to keep toddlers out of trouble if the determined dog cant managed to pull the trash bag out with these things on. For adhesion - the can is a soft plastic and smooth steel. We havent had any slipping on the two locks at all. It only takes one hand to open these, but it takes an empty hand to do it, since you have to slide the clip then pull up - just sliding it isnt enough.

The black color matched my cabinets perfectly, theyre almost unnoticeable in certain lighting. So far after testing them myself they seem pretty sturdy but I will update how they withstand my toddler pulling on them overtime. They are pretty easy to install, the only annoying part is having to hold them down for 2 minutes with pressure in order to make sure the adhesion sticks. Otherwise I am pleased with this product so far.

The all black option blends well with furniture which is nice, however our 2 yr old was very easily able to pull the adhesion stickers right off the furniture items so the lock aspect was irrelevant.
