> 3 dayWish I could give this 5 stars. The only reason I’m not is because I live in an older house and the outlets require an extension if I have to plug in a three prong plug, which added extra bulk! I first ordered a safety first outlet cover and not only would it not close but the hole at the bottom was not big enough for the thickness of the power strip :/. I was super disappointed to say the least, so when I ordered this gem I was so happy that the power strip fit but I did have to squish the panel shut which is why I’m giving it 4 stars BUT it stayed shut! I just wish it was roomier so I didn’t have to force it shut. Other than that it’s great I’m happy and it’s made my outlet safe!

> 3 dayProduct works great to keep my little one from pulling cords out of the sockets and keeping him safe and sound

> 3 dayBought this to stop my baby from pulling on chords and disconnecting power to our TVs, internet, and game systems, not to mention the risk of him hurting himself. This remedied the issue in less than 2 minutes. 1 flat head screwdriver is all i needed to accomplish this install in 2 minutes. It took as much time to open the box and unwrap the contents as it di to install. Its solid in construction and 2 sizes of hardware are included to ensure you have a successful install.

> 3 dayI put this to work in a nontraditional use. Toddlers were repeatedly accidentally turning off the instant hot water heat on the outside of the house. They just couldn’t resist the fun of mashing on the buttons. Luckily the controls couldn’t be turned over 120 degrees (so no risk of scalds), but they could hit the power button. Our particular heater didn’t have a “keypad lock” function so I went looking for a way to keep ‘em from hitting the keys. I shaved the edges off of the back of the box and then attached it to the face of the heater with high strength double sided mounting tape. Going on six weeks now with no more surprise cold water incidents when it had been a weekly (or more often) occurrence.

Greater than one weekKeeps the plugs in the socket, toddler can’t pull the cords out to chew on the ends, and he can’t fit his fingers through the bottom hole, I think this product has saved his life! We were using traditional outlet covers while he was a baby. But when he became mobile and curious, they were useless. Not only could he get those off but he would put the covers in his mouth. This truly locks in place and can’t be opened without a little force. As a full grown adult, I find it just a tad difficult to open. Which is fine but for my toddler, he can’t figure it out and that’s all that matters. He lost interest quickly and moved on
