Bamboo Circular Knitting Needles Takumi , 9-Inch Size 3 (3016/9-03)

a little hard on the hands knitting with these, due to the small needles. i like them because they are small enough for me to knit socks on them. Since i have gotten them i have knitted a pair of socks with no ladders :). and i was able to work them quickly without having to change from needle to needle like double point

I like knitting with bamboo circular needles.

I love this brand it is great for beginners but I am not fond of this needle it was very hard to use and my mother Got it at the same time and agreed with me Very hard to use

Perfect size for gloves & baby beanies using the finer yarns

I really like the wood needles vs the steel ones, less chance of your yarn falling off the needles

The size three nine inch were hard to find and they work very well. I especially like the circular bamboo needles.

I like using these needles for the socks I’m attempting to make. I wanted to try these before I tried using 4 needles. I think I’ll stick with these. I also prefer bamboo to metal.

I am very happy with the product, but canot believe that it took 10 days to get here!! The date on the package was 2/20/2013 and I didnt get it until the 28th.

Just kidding but, they are pretty small. When I first saw them, I laughed because they seem kind of ridiculous. I wondered how long it would take to get the hang of them. It didnt take long at all, actually. Casting on is a bit of a drag but then again, its always my least favorite part. I dont think its harder but because of the size, it took me a bit longer. Knitting with them feels pretty intuitive and is actually fun. They make the cutest little stitches too. Now, I have fairly small fingers (size 4 on my ring finger) so I honestly dont know if that makes it easier for me to use them but maybe. If you are a beginner, you probably arent going to buy these right now anyway but if you do, there probably will be a learning curve. I do wish the metal to bamboo had a smoother transition as it seems like it rubs my finger slightly. I have some Addi Turbo circulars as well but they dont seem to rub like that. Could just be me. I actually prefer these Takumis over the Addis though. I wish they would make these in an 8 length but I guess Ill just have to break out the DPNs. Anyway, I call these my Super Tiny Fun Needles because they are just that. Fun to knit with and adorable as well!

These circulars are just what I was looking for to give me a break from DPNs on small circumference pieces.
