Have used this product before as a bariatric patient; blood work always came back positive and with good results, including red blood cell count for over a year. This product is pricey so I began to use it every other day (the bottle suggests 3 capsules a day), but took a Flintstones complete vitamin every day, which is less expensive than this product. The blood work came back with good results. I then tried a season with Flintstones vitamins only, and my red blood cell count was lower. so to save some mula $, use it every other day and use a cheaper complete vitamin like the one aforementioned. I had the sleeve gasterectomy where the stomach is reduced to 15% original size.

Had bariateic surgery in November 2009 and was taking what I thought was a good vitamin supplement. I hadnt been feeling well for about a year and I started feeling much worse. I was very dizzy and tired so I had some blood work done and was found to be deficient in iron and vitamins A, D, E and K. I was able to bring up my iron levels from 31 to 96 in a six month course of using this multivitamin with iron from Bariatric Advantage. I did use an iron supplement in addition because I was so low. Now, Im relying on Bariatric Advantage Multivitamin with iron alone.

I had gastric bypass done in May 2015 and this vitamin came recommended by my surgeon as it is strong enough for my body to absorb. These vitamins are also kind on my tummy, and dont cause me to be nauseous like others have done. The price is VERY fair considering how many you get. One thing to note is that the serving size is actually 3 capsules.
