> 3 dayGreat in my room for cooling off; you hardly hear it and lowest speed is more than adequate, I had to tape the base for better stability

> 3 dayI got this to put in our Hurricane Prep box. It works okay. However, I must have been a bit too rough when installing the batteries cause the plastic lid to the battery compartment broke. (Thank goodness for duct tape!) After I purchased this, I found a larger one for the same price at one of the big box stores ... you know the one, with the door greeters in the sexy blue vests.

> 3 dayI ordered this for my daughter to take to camp with her. The cabins at this camp are not air conditioned and outlets are limited. Worked great for her two week summer camp. I sent extra batteries with her but she did not use them. She said the fan quit working at the high speed the second week. We swapped out the batteries to see if that was the problem and it worked just fine again. I didnt expect 2 week battery life for running at least 8 hours per night so I think it did pretty well.

> 3 dayI wanted a battery operated fan just in case electricity goes out. This fan is battery operated. I have another desktop fan which plugs into the wall, it is much more effective than this one.

Greater than one weekThis is an awesome fan. I have two of them (one for each kid), and they kept them cool at night while they were at sleep away camp. I did a test at home, before they left, and I found that one set of batteries will only last about 7 hours on the highest speed setting. However, after that 7 hours, the fan slows itself down, and will go another 4-5 DAYS on the lowest setting - with that same set of batteries! The lower settings use almost no battery at all. The high speed creates A LOT of wind, suitable to cool anyone off at any temperature. We are very happy with these fans.

> 3 dayExactly what I wanted. I use the fan for sleeping in my RV. I wanted something that had enough power to move some air and give me a little noise to sleep by. If you use a fan to sleep, this works great.

> 3 dayUse it in my 22’ Airstream Safari. Quite powerful for a small fan. Like the two options of powering…batteries or with usb. Well made, quite powerful for its size, place it anywhere. Would buy again!!

> 3 dayIm in the USMC and I have issues sleeping at night due to heat where I need a fan. I bought this fan since it uses D batteries instead of mediocre batteries but I was actually very surprised to find out that it also can run on my portable charger using the included AC to USB cord. It survived in my pack during a two week operation and was still working on the same set of batteries, now I didnt run it full blast the entire time but still impressive, I currently dont have an idea of how long a set of batteries will last. I was worried that the fan would turn on in my pack but pro tip, I turned the batteries backwards when not in use as to not have that happen. My only complaint was that the LEDs dont turn off and I absolutely hate bright LEDs on things when Im sleeping but I put duct tape over it so that fixed that issue.
