> 3 dayJust days before hurricane Ian hit Florida, and I knew I would be without power, I ordered this inexpensive fan. Just finished 2 days of no power and this lightweight D-battery buddy was at my side all the time. I could grab it with me as I moved around the bouse. It was just enough to keep me cooled down. And so quiet when I TRIED to sleep. Today starts clean up here and lights are back on. When everything settles down, I plan to buy at least one more. One more for my emergency supplies box and one for at the beach. If you go to your kids games and sit in the heat...this is perfect .

> 3 dayLight weight, very quiet on all three controls, the price is great and it takes 4 D batteries. I rather plug it up and keep it moving. A good find on this site

> 3 dayWe were out of electricity for about 3 days due to Hurricane Ian. Living in Florida - it got pretty warm inside the house. This fan was awesome. Battery powered, pretty quiet, long life. It helped us to stay comfortable without AC and we kept it on all night to stay cool & promote air movement within the house. Im thinking of buying another. Great product.

> 3 dayWas initially concerned when opening package as it mentioned needing batteries (D). It will also operate using USB power cord that comes with it. Love it.

> 3 dayFirst, let me say that this fan moves a lot of air when on High. But I used it while camping during a heat wave. It lasted through one night and half of the next, then it wouldnt run on High. It continued to operate on Medium for several nights, which wasnt too bad. It does required a certain amount of current to operate on high. Even the USB power has to be one of the more powerful ports. But, as noted, it does move a lot of air. It just depends on how often you want to replace D cell batteries. They also need to make the battery door sturdier. I accidentally knocked the fan off its perch and it fell to the floor (a little over 2 feet). The 2 little tabs holding the battery door in place both broke off, so now I have to tape the door on. The accident is on me, of course. But the device could have been better constructed.

Greater than one weekThis works great. I like the 3 different levels of the fan. It comes with plug in but have not tried that yet. First set of batteries lasted pretty long.
