> 3 dayIf youve never used a Fupa, youre not as good as a welder as you can be. Does that explain how good this product is? Makes a good welder more gooder welder. Ive heard people say to learn on a standard cup before going to a FUPA. I think thats maybe true, just so you can appreciate how much easier and clean your TIG welds can be. TIG welding is so involved, so many settings, so many materials, thickness, conditions, and the furick gas lens just helps so much in providing proper consistent gas coverage while allowing a fairly large tungsten stick out. I am not a pro, however I do have some experience. I do use a cheaper welder (Prime Weld) comes with a great torch (CK Worldwide) The Fupa now makes my garage TIG welder an absolute pleasure to work with!! It does everything I want, and really well too now with a quality looking... professional looking results

> 3 dayI’ve been utilizing these cups quite a bit lately... getting good use out of them. Made light work of couple deep bolt hole repairs, and also used them on some NiCu X-ray joints I had to weld. The bigger gas coverage definitely allows more forgiving manipulation of the filler rod, torch angle, and tungsten stick-out, while still maintaining very high quality welds.

> 3 dayWorked well so far on some stainless I’ve been working with for a turbo manifold and exhaust system. I find them a little expensive for such a simple piece but can’t deny that they provide good gas coverage and I haven’t found a less expensive option that works as well.

> 3 dayThe collet came too small for a 3/32 Tungsten and i had to ream the collet out with a 3/32 drill bit in order to fit my tungsten in it!

> 3 dayBeing new to the TIG process, I have seen so many videos that speak highly of Furick cups. I have no where near mastered the TIG process, but these cups are making the task far easier. Having only spent a couple of months TIG welding, I had reached the point where my welds were not embarrassing to show others. I certainly wont say that they look like some of the stuff you see on the internet. What I can say is that a simple change of cups (and the CFH, amperage, etc that accompanies this size cup) has almost instantly improved the appearance of my welds. Some will say that in many cases a large TIG cup (these are #10) is a waste of shielding gas, and perhaps they are, but for a hobby welder, gas consumption isnt much of a priority. All said, these are totally worth the price. They are my Go to cup now. Believe the hype. They work.
