> 24 hourMy boys loved their camping knifes!! Love that they are flat on the tip so no risk there. I even loved carving some wood sticks!! They were entertained for hours . We got them for our camping trips and are going to last !! You do need to be careful because they are sharp but under supervision they are great.

> 24 hourThis handle just feels great. Holding the knife while whittling is very easy with this knife. I use this one 90% of the time. The blade is staying sharpe.

> 24 hourWonderful knife for novice carvers, nice & very well made. Sturdy as well. Feels natural in my palm and valuable part of my set! The only drawback is that it comes without any cover for the blade, and the blade comes very sharp.

> 24 hourI am very pleased with the knife, it came super sharp. The handle is perfect size for my son. I really like that it has a finger guard and rounded tip for safety. This is a great beginner bushcraft/whittling knife!

> 24 hourThank you @beavercraft_tools for the new beginners carving knife. The bandages were a nice touch. Upon opening the box, the knife slipped out without a protective cover. The shipping cover was in the box it was just wedged in with other stuff. The leather cover is really nice and ties on easily. Holding the knife, the handle is a little small for my adult hands but is a great shape and size for the younger person it was designed for. I’m glad the tip is fully rounded, stabs really hurt. First carve on the rubber duck cut out, showed me the knife was sharp, but only sharp about 3/4 the way from the guard to the tip. The beveled part of the rounded tip is not sharp enough to carve. This is ok to start with but would be better if sharp. This is the first carving knife I’ve seen with a finger guard. This is a great idea for a beginners knife. The guard itself is a little too pointy as I stabbed myself behind my thumb guard. Overall a great knife for beginners and as safe as a wood carving knife can be.
