Updated after 1 week use: I noticed my switch getting really hot compared to normal and crashing/freezing which never happened in my life.. I took the backplate off and sure enough my switch started to cool down. I’ll keep an eye on it but for not I gotta sock my original review down to 3/5 stars if this is causing no ventilation it will cost more to fix than the cute case Original: So I purchased this and one that was $25 to see if there was a difference and they were the exact same case so go with the cheaper priced one (This) and save yourself $5-$10! I didn’t realize it’s just the back shell and joycons. I thought it had a front protector so that’s my bad. The joycons are a jelly type of material which was easy to put on my switch compared to other shells and it does make the buttons a little harder to push but not much. Noticeable at first and goes away pretty fast. Now it does take quite a bit of wiggling to get this in my dock properly to charge / play on my tv but after some attempts it did go in, I wish it was easier which is why I took a star away plus it also peeled my expensive skin a bit when applying to the joycons. Overall, I’m happy they finally made a regular switch case like this because they only had the switch lite version which drove me crazy. For $20 it’s decent, a little over priced maybe by 5ish dollars but overall I still do suggest

I love this case! I have the animal crossing edition switch and I wanted a car that would peirce my switch without covering the special designs and colors. This is perfect! It fits into the switch dock just fine and has a very comfortable feeling to it! 10/10 would recommend

I love this case! It’s great sturdy protection and the glitter is so pretty. Practical and cute. Convenient that it fits in the port with the case.

Was really stoked to get this in to protect my Sticky Bunny covered Switch. Things didnt come out quite as I hoped but there are some positives. THE CONS: Ive modified my Switch tablet to have a transparent back as my original backing cracked. I know I didnt get one of the back screws as tight as possible, and as stated before Ive got a Sticky Bunny skin on the tablet and joycons, and between those things the case will not sit flush on the bottom of the tablet (pictured). I tried it on our vanilla OLED model and it fits more snug. However, with both Switches having tempered glass screens and the not perfect fit of the shell, neither Switch will dock/connect/charge in neither the original black or OLED docks. They DO dock/connect/charge in more open face docks like the Skull & Co one. Theres also a plastic piece that sits over the power button that is inflexible (pictured), making turning it on/off this way while docked impossible. Looks like it could be easily snapped off though. THE PROS: The case does look nice and is packaged well, it arrived in perfect condition. I like the joycon shells a lot, as I was having issues with mine getting scuffed up while playing Ring Fit. The joycon shells are a more flexible material but still feel protective and arent a bad texture to hold at length. All the pieces feel really solid and protective and work well together. Assembly was super easy and took a minute tops for all 3 pieces. Im keeping the set mostly because I like the joycon shells so much. At the very least the tablet shell will be good for traveling even if it doesnt fit 100% flush.

I got the sailor moon vinyl too lol Im satisfied with my product . I just needed a little protection because Im clumsy . The only thing you should probably know is that its not as stretchy as youd think itd be as a case . Its plastic and feels like softer plastic so just be careful putting it on and such . Fits in the dock perfectly fine with the case on ! Thank you .
