> 3 dayIMPORTANT NOTE for anyone who is buying this to use with their Xbox: this headset will NOT work properly with wired aftermarket controllers. If youre using an aftermarket controller, make sure that it is a WIRELESS controller; otherwise, your headset will cause a loud incessant buzzing for all of your hearers, rendering your headset practically unusable for chatting. This is caused by the direct electrical connection between your headset to the Xbox. From what Ive seen online, this is a non-issue for factory-made Microsoft wired controllers. So if you have an original controller not made by a third party, your controller should be properly compatible with this headset, whether its wireless or not. Unfortunately, I cant test this. If you are not planning on using the microphone and just want to use the headset for sound alone, it works well enough. Its not great sound, but for the price, its definitely not bad, either. You get what you pay for. Either way, the stereo surround sound will still give you better situational awareness for first-person shooters than if you had no headset at all. Theres plenty of padding and theyre comfortable enough to wear for short periods of time. However, I believe the size of my cranium is a bit larger than average -- not to brag, or anything :) -- and the headphones are a bit tight around my head, so I cant go longer than 45-60 minutes before I just have to take a break. Since I only have an aftermarket wired controller and cant use this for my xbox, I decided to keep it for my pc instead. People seem to hear me clearly enough and havent complained about buzzing or anything like that. I have owned it for about a month and I havent had much other issue with it to speak of.

> 3 dayReally good comfortable headset, lightweight and the sound quality is amazing, I played battlefield and call of duty and its very important to hear enemy footsteps. I was able to hear those footsteps very clear. Also, some headsets produce an echo when you communicate with other players, I didnt hear an echo with this headset which is very good. For the price point and quality, you really do get a great deal. I will purchase more headsets for my kids. I highly recommend this headset

> 3 dayWorked well for my 9 year old until it didn’t. He said they were comfortable and the noise canceling must have worked bc he couldn’t hear me when he had them on. Only lasted 3 months out of 270 day warranty. Have tried to contact the company but they didn’t respond to email and can’t find a phone number to access the company to discuss the warranty.

> 3 dayThe sound quality is fair, has decent treble and bass control, a bit shy of your lows compared to the others pictures, which are by the same brand. Youll be able to hear most everything, so complaints there. For the microphone, its actually better than the other ones, so props for that. The fit was a bit offsetting at first, but after wearing them for a while, they formed to my head, making more comfortable to wear. My only complaint would be that tye microphone cant handle anything past 24 bits through the sound settings in Windows 10. But other than that, pretty decent product for a prerty decent price. For $20 Id say theyre worth every penny.

> 3 dayI have had several headsets from Bengoo and have purchased numerous ones as gifts. The latest one is just as good as the others. Its a comfortable fit, and the microphone flexion is a nice feature. Sound quality is good. I used it on my PS5 and my Xbox Series X. I would highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayIt works great! I got this for my little brother who loves to game on the daily. The sound is crisp, the headphones are adjustable, and the LED light is a cool plus! Its also comfortable, which is good since my brother can game for hours. There is also an adapter for PCs. Another plus is the fact that it is compatible across multiple gaming platforms, such as PS4, Xbox One, Switch, Mac, Desktop PC, Laptop, and Mobile Phone- most of which we have in the household, and what my brother games on. All in all, it works great, and Bengoo did not lie about their product. I also have their gaming mouse and keyboard which has been working great so far, so if youre thinking about purchasing their products- go for it!

10-06-2025This headset are perfect for gaming. I usually play Rocket league and Apex and this headset accommodates me very well. The sound works really well with apex. I can hear enemy footsteps and locate them pretty easily. I would recommend people to buy this.

> 3 dayHello their user wondering if this headset is right for you, well look no further because the answer is yes lol. Bengoo’s G9900 headset is more refined than their previous headset being the G9000 series. Feel: • With the G9900 the first thing you’ll fall in love with is the fit of how the headset feels around your head. With the earmuffs being a little bit thicker and being made with different material than the G9000 it feels fitted to your face in a comfortable way. • When you put the headset on it feels like a perfect fit. With the adjustable head band, the memory foam earmuffs, and the memory foam in the head band it equates to a perfect fit for hours upon hours of use. Design: • The design of the G9900 looks good and feels good. It’s like a slick design with a nice matte finish to it. • The LED’s of this headset is red and they complement the overall design of the headset really well. • The length of the cable is longer than the G9000. • The mic controls for the headset are located behind the left earmuff instead of on the cable itself. I like this approach towards the design because you want have to worry about the bulky mic controls getting in the way of your intense gaming sessions, it want feel like the headset is wearing you down, or worry about it getting hung onto something. The controls are in a very easily accessible spot and out of the way so you don’t have to worry about any hassle. • The mic is flexible meaning you can control where the mic should be for better audio quality of picking up your voice and your voice being clear to others when in use. Sound: • The sound quality is a step up from the G9000. It has 3D surround sound where you feel emerged in what you’re listening to. The sound quality really balances out each individual sound in order to make the 3D effect of the sound going through the headset. • The bass in the G9900 is more define than it was in the G9000 headset. You really do hear the impact of each defining sound which immerses you in the mood of gaming, listening to music, and etcetera to make each experience of using the G9900 unique. Conclusion: In conclusion the G9900 is a step above the G9000 in every aspect. It makes everything you use the headset for unique and leaving you satisfied with your purchase after each use. The only compliant I have is that it only comes in red but I’m sure later down the line with this headset or a future headset they will have more color options. If you got to the end of this review, Thanks for reading and have a nice day…and go get you a G9900 today.
