I bought this to travel on Frontier and Jet Blue. It fit under the seat of both with no problems, however be sure not to over stuff since it is easy to do so. I did overstuff it and had to take a few items out so that it would fit in the personal size bin (though luckily neither airline was making passengers test their bags on my flights). It was quite heavy but held up great. I kept my 17 laptop in the very back compartment and kept my 10 iPad in the very front compartment for easy access. I love all the additional pockets to keep things organized. I also like the elastic straps inside the main compartment as well as the straps/parachute clips on the sides to help make the bag a little smaller. The padded straps and padding on the back of the backpack made it comfortable to wear despite the weight (note that the straps and padding do take up some real estate, so keep this in mind if you need it to fit it in an airlines personal size bin). Its a great bag, especially at this price point. I highly recommend.

I just returned from a 10 day trip to 3 different locations. This bag plus a small suitcase got me through it. I used this as my personal item. It fit easily under the seat with room to spare. It is certainly water resistant (thunder storms). This backpack is very well made with quality zippers and several compartments. Holds up well with extra stuffing. I will probability be ordering one for my husband too!

Every airline provides a free personal bag you can take onto the plane. I got this bag for this exact reason. I take budget airlines almost strictly, and with this bag, I can easily pack in enough clothes and supplies for maybe even a weeks trip. There is just a ton of room in this bag compared to a normal backpack. I love you how lay it down flat and it opens like a suitcase would. This makes is much easier to pack than a normal backpack too. My one dislike of this bag is the straps. The straps are the same width for the entire length of the strap. If you look at most backpacks, the straps taper down so they dont cut into your arms. Well, this bag does indeed cut into your arms if you as much as move your arms inwards even a little bit. This makes the straps quite uncomfortable at times. Overall, I do think I will use this bag a lot for air travel and would recommend this bag to others.

Very well made backpack. Stitching is very tight and strong. Lots of room and the USB port is a nice bonus. Straps are comfy and built to last. Very nice overall!!

I was flying in to see my mom on Mothers day and just need something small to take with me. I went to Walmart and found something there but just didnt like. Then I got on Amazon and this came up. Perfect for me as my carry on Luggage. So many great compartments in this. Im so very happy with it and several ways to carry it and so many pockets. It also got to me a day before it say it would. Shipping is awesome. I think Im going to buy another for my husband when we travel together. Nice this about this carry on is that it opens in the center so tsa can see whats in it faster. Im very pleased with everything about it.

I purchase this backpack because I was tried of paying luggage fees. This is the perfect backpack. I can pack a week of clothing and shoes with room to spare. The backpack is strong and sturdy. It has many pockets for your items like cellphones, computers/ IPads. Yes the backpack fits under the seat and is considered as a personal item.

Interesting idea - part briefcase / part backpack. I would say its about 80% briefcase however. It is well made and a good size but Im not sure its for me. If you are looking for something that is mostly a briefcase you can sometimes use as a backpack this might be a solution for you, I was kind of hoping for the opposite.

The zipper where the laptop would go can’t be closed because the straps of the backpack are on the way so it’s rendered useless, other than that is really spacious and sturdy

I got the expanded one. I work 16 hour shifts on the weekends so my old bag had taken a beating and I needed a new one. This bag is amazing. I was able to fit everything from my old bag in it (which was roomy also) and I STILL have plenty of room left over. It will definitely work for my weekend shifts when I bring lots of food and drinks. It will also be convenient for travel. Ill be able to bring a change of clothes and my laptop in ONE bag instead of hauling two or more bags. Would definitely buy this again in the future if I needed another one. I also love the support pad for the lower back if its worn as a backpack. My old bag made my laptop dig into my back and has caused so much pain. 10/10 on this here, best purchase Ive made in a while.
