Berg is AWESOME! I purchased this Buddy Junior for my 5 year old grand daughter so she could ride along side her older brother who has the Berg Jeep. He has been through a set of tires and inner tubes, rides this all the time. These vehicles are made very well and their customer service has been outstanding. I have contacted them twice, once when the enclosed chain kept slipping, they sent a whole new replacement and then again when I needed new parts for the steering pole. Love these ride on vehicles. My only suggestion would be to enclose a tall flag or hardware to place a tall flag.

Overall I would like to give this product a five however there is a piece of the steering column that is made of brittle pig metal that is prone to shearing and cracking. I have already fabricated a replacement that is sturdier, making the steering control 90% more efficient and reliable. From a manufacturing standpoint this needs to be addressed. I will add photos in the future; not of the modification but the OEM steering column assembly.

Great solid built little pedal cart. Very maneuverable for my six year old boy easy to steer and pedal. Easy adjustable seat that uses a cotter pin for quick adjustment. Only thing is the chain rubs in its enclosure. Hopefully it can be adjusted. One thing for sure to be careful about is overinflating the tires, had them inflated a few days before Christmas and one of the tires exploded Christmas day! Luckily my son wasnt riding it. Sounded like a gun shot. We used an air compressor to air up the tires and just felt it with our hands to check that it was inflated enough. VERY IMPORTANT to use a bicycle pump with a gauge. But overall I think its great!

I know its not a cheap toy for a toddler, but its really worth it. The mechanism for them to pedal forward and backward is incredible; the car is on the heavy side BUT they just need a little push (even by themselves) and once they gain inertia, the pedaling is easier. My daughter really ENJOYS going out in her car; it took her two rides to learn the mechanics of the pedal. Its super sturdy and super easy to assemble (although you need some space to do it). The design of the steering wheel and suspension is smart and allows them to do turns wherever they want and to go into bumps without hesitation. Ill be a BERG customer for life!

My granddaughter just loves this go-kart. Every time she comes over we go fire at least a couple mile ride. And talk about turning heads! She is now 7 and still loves it. Quality is top of the line, very well built.

My 4 year received this for Christmas and it has been a hit. She has no problem going off roading in it, going up hill, or braking. She loves it. Its sturdy and constructed really well. She is so low to the ground that we are attaching a flag so cars can see her. All the kids in the neighborhood want to ride it. I would buy it again.

Bought in May and the wheel spikes broke and can’t get a replacement. They keep telling me it’s not available. The last time I contacted them and they haven’t responded in over a month. The thing is worthless without the wheel. Waste of money.

I got a car for each of my boys (one likes pink, the other orange) and both boys love their cars. We drive them a few blocks to the local park. I figure they get up to 8 or 10 mph if the boys pedal hard. Solid construction that can easily bear my adult weight. A clever suspension system that allows the body of the car to twist a bit so that all four wheels are always on the ground. Only one rear wheel is driven but the suspension system keeps this from being a problem. This also means that only wheel is used for braking and that could be an issue but it has not made problems for us yet.

The box arrived earlier than expected. I was able to assemble in 20 minutes.. and hit it at the neighbor’s house. It will not disappoint.. perfect for rolling around the neighborhood. Start out with a helmet expectation . It won’t take long for an active kid to figure out how to get it on two wheels. FYI, the berg flag is not designed for this cart..however we will probably engineer something.
