Bernat Crushed Velvet Yarn, Blue Brilliance

After delivery delays. I finally did receive my yarn. The wait was worth the headache. Its going to make a beautiful blanket, once Im done with it. I always love working with this soft yarn. Quality is a plus. 5 stars

Wool feels lovely and soft, unfortunately all 3 balls that I ordered were full of knots, many of which I couldnt undo or i have found tied ends or bald patches as I unravelled the ball to use it, so I have had to cut some sections out and re-tie the wool. Now I am faced with buying another ball to make up the short fall. I did not expect these problems from such an expensive ball of wool!

I thought this yarn would be similar to the Bernat Blanket and Baby Blanket yarns, but its much thinner. Too bad they dont make the Baby Blanket yarns in colors other than pastels--that yarn is by far the softest.

I love Bernat bulky blanket year -- thought Id try this out. The 10.5 oz skeins are smaller than Bernat. I thought the velvet year was hard to work with, and my project was just not working out with this yarn.

This yarn is lesser quality then the stuff I purchased at Walmart. It’s thin and not as soft. Nice try

Apart from the colour being exactly what I wanted. The feel of it is really soft and easy to knit with.

Love this color combo! It goes with any color pattern style! Good with blue and purples obviously, but contrasts very nicely with links and light greens as well. Seriously, Ive used this yarn in the scarf & mens I made myself this winter, my sons heavy straight section crotchet blanket, my own squared crotchet blanket, the crotchet blanket I made my brother for Xmas, headbands, slippers, pillow cases, light tote bag for like hygiene supplies or makeup, couch covers, drapes for my bedroom windows, uhhh Im sure there more but thats all I can think of now lol. ❤️ THIS SO MUCH!!!
