Bernat Crushed Velvet Yarn, Blue Brilliance

Bought this as a gift for a friend who loves to knit and crochet. She made me a scarf and it is SO SOFT! The color is absolutely beautiful too, the picture doesnt do it justice.

I used this to crochet soft toys. Its lovely and soft and the colours are nice, but its rather expensive and not very strong. It snapped easily when sewing in ends etc. Not sure how durable it will be.

I see a lot of reviews complain about the yarn coming loose. Velvet is prone to worming when youre using loose stitches. Youll want to purchase this yarn for tightly made projects. Definitely a deal when its under 9 each, since its about 10 in store. I love using this yarn, and have purchased many colors here to make Puppy the spider. Very soft and easy to use (it helps to have a yarn bowl so it doesnt tangle)

This yarn is the softest and makes super soft crochet projects. It is the perfect color for cows and bears.

Used for a small hat and scarf. Seemed bulky because it was a velour texture but was actually kind of thin. Resized needles and ripped out several times with a number of patterns. Finished product was just ok. Expected it to have much more texture other than the coloration. More attractive with a stockinette stitch than rib knit. Probably won’t use again.
