There is fan noise. Without turning on, it still charges the USB ports. Manual says using only one 2.1-amp port at a time. I use them both. It is a small unit. I like it so far on the drive of 6 hours yesterday. I plugged in a laptop and two phones. Very nice so far!

Bought this model 5-6 years ago I think? Just noticed it while shopping and had to write a review. It is still working really well, no problems and comes in darn handy when away from home.

Quality is noticed as soon as the package is opened. I have not had the occasion to use it, but having it while traveling affords peace of mind.

We drove across the country this summer. As the passenger, this cord gave us lots of functionality in the car. It worked like a dream!

Bought a similar type product and it stunk. This one really does the job. And about the fan noise. PLEASE. Really. You cant even hear it. I get irritated by everything. Please again there is no merit to the fan noise. 4 phones and a trip to Florida. It worked great.

I just ordered this inverter after borrowing a similar inverter from a friend. I found use of the borrowed inverter invaluable during a short camping / photography trip so I wanted to get one of my own. I received confirmation of my order immediately and the inverter arrived two days later, much quicker than expected! Since I just received the inverter Ive not had a real chance to use it for any duration. However I did a test run with it just to make sure it works and it seems good. It feels like a quality built piece, nice and solid, and I suspect it will easily satisfy my need for aux power when on the road.

I love this, but it broke after a year of use :( Used primarily for curling/flat irons. My husband would drive while I did my hair. lol
