I’ve needed this for a long time, but I did not know it. My wife and I have begun take long driving trips and enjoy listening to books on tape, but our van is so old it doesn’t have a built in CD player. We bought a portable CD player and used a lot of batteries. Our 5-year old grandson came with us on a trip and we needed to power his portable DVD player, as well. This worked perfectly. We could plug in both electronic devices and could keep our cellphones charged (one for GPS). It worked superbly, quietly, and discretely. I wish I had bought one years ago.

The fan is kind of loud, but put it on the passengers floor and you probably wont hear it.

This did not work up to the promised 300 watts- and you cannot return it- even if its defective buyers beware!

Plug and Play. Best words.... Easy to use. Best used with car engine on.

Tried it with the car on and off would not charge my devices through either port. It just made them hot.

It worked once while I was charging a laptop. Tried to use it again later, blew out and died. Not the greatest.
