Bissell is a reputable brand. I really wanted to like this and be able to keep it for small areas that my dogs love to have accidents on. It has great reviews and overall does what it claims, sorta. I am particular though. The suction just was not enough for me. It hurt my wrist after a while having to press down so hard to run the head over the carpet. You cant just go over it once after you spray. You have to add rigorous force to try to brush out any stains. The suction isnt superb, so you have to repeat your motions of removing the water. After reading reviews about the handle part breaking from a bad connection, I was very careful to have a good grip on where the head attaches to the tube. I did not use the carpet cleaner bottles that came with it. I used my Puracy carpet cleaner instead. The cord is super long, but the hose should be longer IMO. As for the soap & water reservoir, it is inconvenient for the cap to be on the bottom (although I understand why) because if you do not line it up just right, it starts leaking. I learned that the hard way and was so paranoid of continuous leaks, that I had it in a giant plastic tray while I moved around from room to room. Too much physical energy required on my end, and Im young and healthy! I dont recommend this if you are prone to wrist strains, elbow tendonitis, shoulder or lower back pain. I did get some good thigh and butt work in though, squatting to clean the hard to reach areas :). Overall, I prefer a professional to come to my house. Their equipment is just better.

Much heavier then expected. Would have liked a stronger spray. But over all it has been a great help.

I bought this carpet cleaner to wash my car floor and it worked great ! Also stains that I have in my house from puppy accidents were sucked up when it’s been sitting there forever ! It’s a great versatile carpet washer and it all depends what you need it for . The pro oxy urine remover worked great on my stains and I just pretreated them and was able to lift it out with the machine ! Just a reminder if you have a really dark stain that is stubborn it’s all about what cleaning solution you use to really see results !

My dog is a senior dog and recently has been going through gastroenteritis which makes him throw up and have diarrhea. When he had an accident shortly after I cleaned my all my carpets I knew I needed something like this. I just received this tonight and already used it on a carpet area where he had past accidents, I was so impressed I ended up doing my whole sectional couch and all my throw pillows. I was able to do all this using just 1 out of the 2 sample bottles. This is so easy to use and satisfying, the suction is strong and the water tank is big enough that it lasts a while. Cleaning it was easy as well, my only thing is if you have cats it’s a little trickier to get all of the hair out. All in all this was worth every penny and I wish I had bought this months ago.

I am a proud mom of a Siamese with a sensitive stomach! Did a little research found out what his allergies are but definitely not in time before there were lots of pet stains to be cleaned up from his vomiting. This carpet cleaner was great in hitting all of the discolored spots! The suction power was good, but you do need to be patient with it to go over and over and over the spot. We appreciate the small handheld easy to carry size of this machine.

DO NOT EVER LEAVE IT UNCLEANED - you need to take very very good care of this machine. If you are like me, you will be cleaning up your ten thousandth diarrhea stain from your dog, and you will be too tired to clean it. Then you forget about it for a day. Then you go to use the machine again andddd you need to throw it away and buy a new one. The smell is unbearable, it will literally knock you over. Something to do with the way a vacuum works I guess but the smell just ruins the innerworkings of the machine. Its dead now, you need to buy a new one. Works great though 10/10 no complaints.

I saw all the other reviews and decided to try it. Let me tell you: this thing works. One thing I’d recommend is just using plain water to rinse, and use a product on the carpet before you use it. But it really does work on urine stains, and it’s actually disgusting how dirty the water was. It took me about 1 hour to clean the area that I was cleaning because I went over it multiple times. But now I want to use it everywhere because of how well it works lol.

They arent paying me to say this, I swear, but this is the best cleaner Ive ever owned. Let me be clear... I dont have any stairs. I have a single floor apartment with brand new carpet. I have a 50lb dog thats a pup. She pees and poops sometimes by accident. Shes learning. Anyway, for SPOT cleaning, this cleaner is AMAZING!!!! Always cleans the carpet. I hand clean first with a paper towel. Then use this to clean the carpet of any stains. and it sucks up pee. I filled the cleaning INPUT reservoir and for weeks Ive been using it without refilling. I use the PET attachment that keeps the poop colored water inside the handheld part. So it makes it easier for me to clean just the attachment instead of the OUTPUT reservior.
