> 3 dayIt took me about three hours to replace the screen on my sons iPad. I had to harvest his old home button because this home button didnt seem to work. The tools were great, but there were no instructions included so I had to look at YouTube for guidance. Which worked for me. Make sure to watch a video for the correct generation of iPad. Unfortunately, the adhesive didnt work well, the screen fell off in about a week. I heated it up after I installed it originally and heated it again when it fell off, but it just wouldnt stay. Ended up taking it into a store to repair it anyway. It was worth trying it. The cost of this screen is far less than a professional install. But disappointed that it didnt work out and I have to pay for a professional screen replacement anyway.
