This was a fabulous deal (complete program upgrade included) given that this keyboard has alleviated the stress in my arthritic hands (inevitable pain for an elder keyboard user). Though new to video edits, I am so impressed by this program and commend the owners for providing it free. Because of this, I felt good paying for the upgrade! Whether you are a pro or are a rank beginner like me, this keyboard and program are a fabulous deal.

once you learn to edit with this speed editor on the cut page, there is no going back! now i want to use the cut page for everything. Blackmagic really nailed it! It even works on the edit page. Yes, there is a learning curve, but totally worth it.

I’ve been researching DaVinci resolve studio 17 for months and I finally have my hands on it! It does not disappoint, there is so much packed into this, including Fusion. You can download the single standalone Fusion 17 download from the website and the serial key will work for this too. Traditionally I’ve been using Powerdirector but DaVinci Resolve is in a different league and quite rightfully, as it’s a commercial video editor, color grader, audio editor and 3D digital compositor and vfx suite. Definitely locks horns with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Highly recommended for professionals as well as casual hobbyists like myself.

I love the software and the speed editor. Im still learning how to use both but I can already see the benefit of the speed editor. Though sometimes it does glitch a little. Im coming from recording and editing on my phone. I see the difference. Long as you put the time in to learn it, youll be good. Also the cable for the editor is c to c. And you have to download the manual.

Order a speed editor because I used one and it was amazing. Then when miner came in it would not connect sometimes and sometimes just stop working on its own even if the battery is 100%. It wont connect via Bluetooth sometimes. I have to open and close resolve multiple times just for it to connect. I called tech support he said nothing he can do I should order a replacement. so I did just for them to keep pushing the delivery date further back and till this day I havent received a replacement.

This panel was specifically designed for Davinci Resolve’s Cut Page, as such, it works perfectly. However, I primarily use the Edit Page and still find this very useful. I’m not after the “speed”. I’m an amateur editor so I’m in no hurry when I’m editing. Instead, this brings a ton of convenience. Having the search knob and other short cut keys makes editing a bit more fun. Worth it especially as bundled with DVR Studio.

Workflow changed after this! Takes a little to get used too but well worth it
