> 3 dayLove this thing. I feel that I’m much faster with it, though I still hunt for keys occasionally (and I’m actually loving the Cut Page now that I’m more used to it). Excellent quality and feel. Did some minor multi-cam work with it, and it worked very nicely for that. Looking forward to more multi-cam editing now. I’m a serious amateur and I’m still glad I spend the money on it. I felt good licensing Resolve and getting this device for free (or vice versa ;-)).

> 3 dayHaving another key for future PC build is a plus as well. The keyboard is unused and unnecessary but its near free stuff so not so much complaints there.

> 3 dayI had been thinking about switching to Resolve for awhile, as it seemed to be the new hotness. Using the free version, I was convinced very quickly. The free version doesnt work with all of the video formats and outputs though, so you need the studio version. You can get there by way of $300, or buy any Blackmagic hardware. The price varies from same to $100 more, so this is a great entry point.

Greater than one weekAfter over 10 years of development, Resolve still cannot do the most basic things. Splines and keyframes are buried in microscopic, convoluted windows with extremely poor controls and absurdly complex layouts, making what should take 30 seconds take 30 minutes or more. The video editor has a litany of design flaws, such as video clips which cannot be brought into a timeline more than once, audio controls which are invisible against the waveforms and unusable while playing, and basic adjustment keyframes which will become stuck, unable to ease in or out, or will simply cause adjustment parameters to move in wild, unpredictable ways which take unreasonably long times to repair due to the horrific, tiny GUIs.

Greater than one weekThe buttons and the wheel are so high quality! My wife loves to click away on it.

22-11-2024This bundle is out of stock or backordered on other sites. Received both DaVinci Resolve 17 & the Speed Editor the very next day from the seller Kellards! I previously had Resolve 16 Public Beta (Free) installed; downloaded and installed DaVinci Resolve Studio 17 Beta 9, and after starting Resolve 17 Studio, the Speed Editor lit up. The first time you startup Resolve Studio with the Speed Editor, the program might appear to become unresponsive at the Looking for Control Surface loading screen, just let it take its time to find the Speed Editor. Afterwards, future program starts are speedy.

Greater than one weekStill getting my feet wet with the speed editor, but I love this already. It has definitely sped up my editing and I will only get faster as I become more proficient in its use. More for the use in the cut page rather than the edit page. Multicam editing was great on this. The trim functions are excellent. Definitely worth the price, especially since its free when you buy DaVinci Resolve Studio for the time being! Delivery was faster than expected from Kellards. Much appreciated. I cant see anyone being disappointed with this overall. It has some areas of opportunity, but Im really digging it so far.
