BlenderBottle Classic Shaker Bottle Perfect for Protein Shakes and Pre Workout, 28-Ounce, Navy

I am new to the world of shaker bottles. I didnt know what on earth I was looking for when it came to one. What makes one better or more useful than another? Is it because this one is clear and another one is eye-seering fuchsia. Is it because the ball inside this shaker is bigger than another? What are the answers to life? The answer is who the heck knows. I picked this one because it was cheap and looked good from the picture. And you know what? I picked correct. This is a great bottle for anyone. The little mesh ball is used to stir up protein powder. Protein powder clumps like you wouldnt believe and using just a spoon to stir it up just doesnt cut it. Get it? A spoon cutting it? Ill see myself out after I post this review. One invaluable lesson if I could leave one with you fellow novice is make sure the cap is sealed. Shaking the cup without the cap sealed will spray protein flavored water all over you, the kitchen, the lights, the cat, the computer, everywhere. Dont believe me? I present Exhibit A: my vanilla scented apartment from me not sealing the stupid cap. My cat still wont talk to me and its been months.

The BlenderBottle is hit and miss, in terms of usage, I have had this product since March 27th, 2015 and have used it every day for the past few months. It is perfect for blends you make at home. I blend at home and after the blend sits for a while the concoction gets thick and settles. However, with the BlenderBottle, I just shake shake shake it up and I have a nice palatable beverage again. Even my girlfriend who has a NutriBullet uses the BlenderBottle because drinking out of the NutriBullet canister leads to the same problem. So I can honestly say the BlenderBottle has made it easier for me to drink and transport my blends and has been the perfect compliment to my commuter lifestyle. SO WHY THE THREE STARS MAN?! Simple, I have had the plastic container for about four months and the lid is cracked. I hand wash this container every day, I never use anything but fridge temperature blends in it and I have never dropped the bottle. It is a manufacturer defect in the lid. The plastic separates from the top of the lid to where it gets screwed on as you can see in my picture and that of other amazon reviewers. I have already submitted a warranty claim for a new lid with BlenderBottle, but Im sure the process is going to take at least two weeks so I was forced to by another BlenderBottle in the meantime. Hopefully this one lasts longer or is designed better. ***Update*** I put in for a lid replacement request under the blender bottle warranty which can be found here (http://www.blenderbottle.com/warranty-claim/) The process takes about 15 minutes, you will need to take a couple of pictures and look for numbers on the bottle and on the lid regardless of which part has broken. After submitting my request BlenderBottle mailed out a replacement within about a day so the process is quick. I did this on July 21st and received my replacement on July 27th. In the meantime I had to prime a replacement bottle since I didnt want to go without my blends. Overall Im satisfied with the warranty process.

These are great. Really good for the price. The are tough, and after three and a half months of almost daily use, they still look pretty much the same as the day I got them. The only negative I have is that the shape of the mouthpiece sometimes catches powder and keeps it from mixing properly. Also when sharing an office, the snap of the lid could be annoying to a co-worker, but at least I know it wont leak or pop loose. I generally wash it by adding hot water and soap with the lid still on, shaking it up and pouring it out. (then rinsing it). This works well, but remember to unscrew the lid and get the rim of the lid where it recesses into the screws and then use a brush on the inside of the lid. Otherwise it cleans really easily. Update: Still going strong 9/2/2016 used every other day (I bought another set and alternate use). The only wear they show is from when Ive dropped them onto pavement and scuffed them (mostly the lid). Still snaps closed very securely.

This changed my life. I have used protein regularly for years, trying different brands based on availability, flavors, and deals that Ive found. Each brand and flavor has had varying degrees of mixability with most resulting in a chunky mess when shaken in a regular bottle. With my most recent protein purchase (BodyTech) I was beginning to get fed up with my gloopy protein shake after my workouts and decided to see what the fuss was about Blender bottles. The fact is that it just works. That little metal ball does what your regular bottle cant, blend your protein into a smooth and palatable shake. In addition to that, the build quality is high. I get the sense that this will last a very long time. Pros: + Metal ball blends your protein perfectly. + Solid, thick plastic construction. + Sturdy screw top. Cons: - None.

*Updated* Received my replacement lid in the mail today. I really appreciate the quick customer service. We shall see how this one holds up. I do really like the blender bottle and if this holds up well I will definitely stick with it. Thanks. Worked well for 2 months and then the top of the lid separated from the side with the screw-on grooves. The plastic is either too thin or too cheap and popped off. So now its completely unusable. I will ask the company for a replacement lid but I dont see myself buying this again. The cheap ones I used to buy from supplement stores worked for years before needing to be replaced. And I dont see how a replacement of the same lid will not break the same way.

I have seriously invested a lot when it comes to trying different shaker bottles and these are by far the best I have ever owned so much that I bought 10 of them. I use 5 for my protein shakes and 5 for my green drinks. Makes it way easier when prepping for your workweek just to have these ready to go in the fridge. The seal is good, the top lid locks tightly so even if you drop it, it wont pop open. And speaking of dropping it I have done that many times and despite it got scuffed a little didnt break or anything.

The Blender Bottle was exactly as promised. I use the 28 oz Blender Bottle to mix my whey protein shakes in. As a bariatric patient, it is important that I consume a fair amount of protein each day. Using the Blender Bottle with the BlenderBall has made this seeming daunting task so much easier. I pour my liquid, usually cold coffee or almond milk, into the cup and then add they whey protein. After adding the BlenderBall and securing the lid, I shake it rather vigorously. I have purchased look-alike shakers before only to have them not fully mix my drink and often leak while I am shaking it. Do you know how horrible it is to have protein shake spray out on you? Yuck! I have been using my BlenderBottle for a few weeks now without any leaking or spraying. It has proven to be a solid product! The BlenderBall breaks up the protein powder clumps with ease! I have learned that if I dont shake it enough, some powder can get trapped in the drink spout so (like I said before) I shake the heck out of that thing. I am so pleased with the BlenderBottle product that I am likely to buy another so that I can have one at home or work.

I don’t work out, and I don’t give a crap about pro Tien powder. I do, however, take Kratom every day. This is absolutely perfect for that. The ball mix is powders and liquids very well, and I love the design of the fliptop and the fact that it just plain works. Enjoy!

Does it’s intended job . So far it’s holding up well and works great.
