I actually have more than one style of these… but this particular one is better made and more durable. These have changed our life and created such freedom for me and my child with disabilities… she is a “runner” and we couldn’t go anywhere… not even for walks, without the scare of her running away and into traffic. This product has made outings possible and enjoyable and yes, there are people that freak out about it… I don’t care… this product has allowed us to go for walks, go shopping, go to parks, go to dr visits, go to school… I love it

I bought this before I went on a vacation with my two year old, just the two of us, including Disneyland. Hes usually really good about staying with me, but occasionally gets a streak of independence and doesnt want to hold my hand. This was great for long walks and for standing in line. He can stand or walk independently for a very long time, but I didnt need to worry about him suddenly bolting or getting separated in the crowd with this. I was worried about him moving far enough away that wed become an obstacle for other people, but that wasnt the case at all. I think it helped signal to him that he needs to stay by me, but lets him feel independent, which is what he wants at this age. He never fought using it, and it was pretty comfortable for both of us. We live in a suburb without sidewalks, so Ive found it useful as weve taken walks since coming home. He can walk by himself, but I dont have to worry about him running into the street. Its really great for this stage where his reasoning skills dont match his physical skills.

We used it for the first time today. He had no complaints, he actually grabbed it & handed it to me to tell me “let’s go outside”. It didn’t bother my wrist either. Super easy to put it on & take it off. But not to easy for the child to do themselves. Highly recommended! Now we’re able to leave the house for a walk without the stroller & im not as paranoid as before and he’s got some freeness to roam & walk on his own.

My kiddo and I love to go on walks but his very active and loves to be independent and run of, with this he has his freedom and yet is protected at the same time. He loves it and ask to wear it every time as he knows he can be more active instead of holding my hand. This has also been helpful for him to understand that he should keep a short distance, the few times we habe walked without it he seems to be more aware of keeping close.

We planned a trip to the river with our one year old so I wanted something that would make me feel safer with her having a little bit of freedom in the water but still staying close by. This was prefect. If you’re thinking of buy it just go ahead and buy it!

This wrist leash worked great. My grandson is 5 and is autistic so has tendency to take off on his own. We took him to the zoo and his excitement was overwhelming, so he kept trying to run through the crowds to get to the animals. This wrist band gave him enough tension to stop, but did not pull him backward like a backpack leash would. I am very happy with the product as it helped GRANDMA not to get lost.

I just received this for my son and daughter. We travel A LOT. This was a necessity as we are planning to go to Japan this year and we frequently travel to a lot of different places. I saw some reviews saying the child side was to small which made me a little weary. So here is your review if you are buying for an older child. My children are 6/7 it is adjustable so you can make it bigger if needed. HOWEVER, my children are slender they do not have very thick wrists or a thick build. Everyone is different and grows different. Worst case scenario if you buy this and it doesn’t fit. I saw other reviews that said they put the adult side on the child and the child side connected to something else. Such as a wheelchair, shopping cart, your purse/backpack etc. Either way I love these! Such great quality and my son has adhd and just wanders everywhere so this will keep him close! Buy it it’s so cheap and such great quality. Also minimizes arguments and frustration since you won’t have to constantly keep saying “hold my hand, stay next to me, etc” just buy the product and have a good time wherever you are.

Comfy wrist bands, double sided Velcro on the toddler side, LOVE IT! Three year old is so busy trying to run away that he’s not trying to figure out the Velcro.
