> 3 dayBlockus is a very strategical game. I think it is best used with 4 players though. My family only has 3 players, and I think the game is slower that way. It takes quite a few plays before the play becomes more difficult, and by then, my 5 year old is a little bored. She can handle a whole game, though. I would recommend Blockus, I think the game will become better the more we play and the more my daughter grows.

> 3 dayFun game for 2 players. Quick and easy to learn, but takes some skill to play well. Old and young players will enjoy this. I only wish it came made of sturdier materials, not cheap plastic. Nonetheless, it is a quick, unique game, utilizing a players spatial skills. I think it would make a great gift.

> 3 dayThis game is super fun to me. We have a lot of games, I love games, and this has been my favorite game for several years now. I love the strategy involved. It takes us about 30 minutes to play it. We usually play it twice in a row. I win almost every time, but thats not why its my favorite game...the actual playing is just incredibly fun to me. Scrabble; Yahtzee; Chess are some of my familys other favorite games. Id highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a fun, 30-minute strategy game. If you dont like to plan your next turn while everyone else takes their turn, no problem, because until near the end of the game, you can pretty easily find a place to play a piece quickly (although, if you just place pieces anywhere you can, you will likely not win, but you can still play this way)...if you want to plan between your turns and find several possible places for your next play, that is easy to do and very enjoyable, in my opinion (and that is what I do). The rules are pretty simple, you place one piece at a time, touching a corner to a piece you already have on the board; you try to spread your pieces out around the board and/or you try to block others from taking over the board, so that you have more places to put your pieces; try to use all your 6-triangle (biggest) pieces first, because as the space left on the board gets smaller, they get harder to play; I try to block in a way where others cant just put a piece in the triangle point opening and make my block ineffective and this may be the key to my winning nearly every game (even with someone who beats me at chess 1/2 the time)...once you have the game, you can see what I mean about these 2 differing ways of blocking. The goal is to use as many pieces as possible before the end of the game and to have the amount of pieces with the total least # of triangles (each piece has between 1-6 triangles on it). I just love this game! I would very highly recommend it!
