> 3 dayWe took this on an international beach trip. The silicone product meant it could be packed without worry of the plastic cracking. Harder plastic might be slightly better for building fancy sand castles, but out 4 yr old was perfectly happy playing with everything that came in the set. The shovel that is included is much better than the typical plastic shovels. Id buy this as a gift for friends and family who travel to beaches! Worth it to have a set that wont crack.
